Supper at my favourite "jim jum" place...it's kinda like thai steamboat...together with lotsa seafood dishes like prawn cocktail, clams, som tum papaya salad and grilled fish. We had that almost EVERY night. Now i have to work on my post-LOS weightgain- 4kg!

We ate in outdoor gazebo attap huts and the mozzies attacked me and not the girls! I look like I was caught in a crossfire now!

Big hair...lotsa backcombing...something i'd not attempt back in Singapore because going to the salon to get my hair straightened out back would cost a bomb!

Hi Marla, That looks very much like one of my favorite Thai BBQ places on Soi Kopai off Pattaya Tai. But you're mentioning seafood.

I'm wondering if it's the same place? 99 baht for all u can eat with drinks extra.

Yes.. we went for Thai BBQ too..the girls wanted to buy me a good dinner before I go...

Really sinful food! I asked if there were any butter for greasing the pan, and Tata said no. She then pointed to a tray full of lard, so we basically placed slabs of sin on the pan, which melts and trickles down into the soup...forming another moat of sin...I do believe that dinner contributed significantly to my weight gain, as well as a potential heart failure due to clogged blood vessels in the near future! Having said that, the lard soup was superb!

Been busy with the paintings, and then the preparations for the exhibition...Hardly have time to tend to hornbags like you anymore! Unless I sacrifice time for my before-bedtime-ritual
