New Camera - Canon S90

Like most good nights this one started out with no plan at all, I just got my new camera a Canon S90 - which takes great pics in poor lighting.
Monkeyman, Socrates and myself started at Guess and then went over to Nana. Halfway thru Nana, Socrates went home and Monkeyman and I decided that we were on a mission to see every LB bar in Bangkok in one night (and at 2am considered grabbing a cab to Pattaya - but a remnant of sanity stopped us).

Here are the pics, these were all taken in low light mode with no flash. Photoshop was used on many of them for color correction, they came out a bit too red in bar lighting.

I guess the new acquisition was made in the US as cameras are so much more expensive here.

The S90 is only 17,000 or 18,000 here, incl VAT. Not too bad compared to USA which is $430 w/o TAX.

Well you certainly deLIVERed with the photos.

Funnily enough I was looking at that camera in a catalogue just the other day, although I did also like the look of the new Canon G11.

Internally the G11 and S90 are the same electronics, the S90 has a 2.0 lens, the G11 has a little more zoom
I went with the S90 because of the size, I have it clipped to my belt and I can take it anywhere.

I first saw this Camera on my recent Nov trip, CoolDudecoco had the Canon S90 and I am mighty impressed with the quality of the Camera and the shots taken with it.
       A great unobtrusive Camera for getting those candid shots.
