I've obviously stumbled into this thread VERY late, as it coincided with the period when i was on an extended sabbatical working with orphans and refugees in Tatzikistan. I couldn't help but notice a lack of followup from Pentire on the concerns he voiced about the Penthouse Hotel.

Perhaps it was moved to another thread? I seem to recall reading another thread with a bunch of shouting and armwaving about Pattaya Obsessions but I thought that was Rosco that had his knickers in a bunch, not Pentire.

Either way, it would be nice to see results posted here in this thread from the followup meeting Pentire was going to have.

Does Penthouse Hotel get the Pentire Housekeeping Seal of Approval?

BigTel - any shots I post will be tame compared to what you get up to...    

Jimbo - yes mate, I am adding to them as fast as I can find them though not all of them want to be photographed. Damn sponsors...        

Azza - all will be revealed. I struggled last year with an inadequate flash. Now I am struggling with a very confusing menu on how to drive this new camera. Talk about ironic, the settings I selected are not compatible when using the flash. I finished up with a locked mirror everytime. I thought the damn thing was broken. So I have switched to Auto mode, the one recommended for newbies.

Why have all these settings if the camera can't deal with them? I will figure it out but it did make me wonder why I bothered.
