Thanks PD, you are actually being too kind. As RXPharm pointed out, I am using an Olympus SP-550, since superceded about 4 times.

My main consideration when buying it wasn't because I have some affinity for Olympus, it was the incredible zoom range of its lens - effectively 28mm wide angle all the way to 560mm telephoto. (That's the equivalent focal lengths for 35mm format.)

Such a long range telephoto, I would rarely use, the slightest hand movement would be magnified to render most pics unsatisfactory (for my eyes at least).

However the 28mm was then the widest lens available in a reasonably priced point-&-shoot single lens camera. Anyone taking people shots should be aware that this is where you want r-e-a-l wide angle.

HOWEVER... using 28mm in the confines of my room does Amm NO FAVOURS at all as it tends to flatten out her features. I was shocked at how she looked in the middle photo above as I had to zoom out to get her long legs into the shot.

I really hope I can capture just how pretty she is, she is such a sweetie she deserves photographic justice. So as soon as I post this, I will wake Sleeping Beauty next to me & see what comes up....

Of course with no make up & being a ladyboy with all of life's insecurities that implies, she (or they) stresses about her looks.

This forced me to take violent action & bravely I dived onto the bed in a physical showdown of wrestling, "chuck-a tee" & a few stolen kisses.

My room doesn't stay messy for long, the rooms are cleaned twice a day. Several times I left the Penthouse at 8pm with the bed unmade from the night before & on arriving back, I opened the door to find the room immaculate.

The hotel have cleaning staff on 24 hours a day & assure me that if I want new sheets & towels at 4am, they will be provided with a full clean-up.

Hmmm, I don't recall ever getting that offer before. And there is no additional charge...

The Champagne is for sale at 1600 baht. It is actually a French Demi Sec, a little sweet for my liking, but the girls love it. Flutes are provided. It is not in my way & I understand that without the little extra sales the place would have to raise their tariff. C'est la vie...
