I use FastStone Image Viewer for batch resizing and it usually works like a charm. It's a free application too!Comment

as yr pic was also distorted, it must be the settings
this is what it might have looked like but the sharpness is gone - I also cropped the door part as it had become a bit overpowering ...
in the settings when resizing, you need to make sure that the aspect ratio is kept but perhaps it was Pookie "horizontal" for a reason ;-)Comment
