Mary when she was May but had a different name with me. This is the waterfall on the Northpart of the island. They also have a gibbons monkey rescue shelter. they are the singing monkeys that were often taken as pets and nearly wiped out. An Australian runs the program and farangs from all over volunteer there. Flash photography is not allowed and its to dark to get a picture in the rainforest area by the water fall. Thai's are free, but its 100 baht for farangs. Thats for the Thais not the shelter which accepts donations.

Many of the gibbons monkeys actually have aids. They have photos of the ones who have gone through the shelter. They post stories of each one They keep the aids ones and re-introduce them to an island designated for them.of how they were rescued and the conditions they were living in. Many thais have tried to keep monkeys, Tigers and Ellephants and other wild animals as pets. They now have strict laws brought on by peta and the likes. With large fines looming over them many people would simply release them in the wild horrible consequences.

This is that little peninsula at Rawaii beach. 1st two photos of the rocks that Aum was sitting on in earlier photos.

The last photo is from the rock looking back at the beach. notice the tide rolls in on each side of this peninsula. There is also an island beyond the rocks.

Very nice pictures and the weather seemed to be also very good. Which time did you take those picture from the beaches?

Different times Z-boy. May/Mary photos were in April, Nalin photos were in July, Aum and mint photos were in Jan.
