This is Marco Polos located next to Foodland and across from Kings Garden. A great vantage point for lb or gg watching. Open 24 hours, 60 baht tiger beers and 70 baht Heinekens. food is reasonably priced for Patpong. I get Pizza cravings and after a dissapointing outing to Pizza hut this scratched the itch.

A 700 baht bill at Pizza hut for me and my lb which included one personal pan, and one medium, and a jug of Rootbeer. This place we had equivelent of medium pizza, a hamburge and fries, 7 Tigers, and 2 Hienekens for under 800 baht. the hamburger and fries were decent too. the view was much better than the Thai teenagers at the hut.

Construction accross the street is going to be a new bar. It used to be a seafood resteruant below, and karaokee bar above. hope they employ lbs like the bars just metres down the soi on same side.

These two fat blobs are mamasons for Kings group. My lb identified them while sitting at Marco Polos. I don't deal with mamaisons myself, and have no use for these hags. Watched the one in dark shirt put make-up on at that table for about 30 minutes, and she still looked rough as guts after.

This last picture is a Ice cream vendor. His specialty is putting on a bun. I never heard or saw Ice scream served with bread until this trip. Even the snowcone lady across from my apartment does it.

View of the omlette and snow cone operation from my Apartment balcony. You can probably guess by their size her regular customers. Two girls work it everyday from 11 in morning until 11 at night. they usually go through three racks of those eggs and one to two ice blocks. My lb cooks, but we do hit them up for snow cones often.

This is the third time in 3 months I have seen these guys trek down my soi dressed in chinese New Year stuff with a small band following. The guys wearing the headress go up to the buisnesses soliciting money for the Temple. My lb tells me they use it for people with disabilities, poor, etc..

How they take the heat under that gear amazes me, as its always middle of the day when they come. I'm happy its never early morning the way they bang those symbols.
