I can understand your concern but you must learn to see it their way. They make some money over there and that is what counts for them. For some lb's a way out . And why not? At least I wish them all the best because if they wait in Pattaya with the low season right now they can wait forever.
Of course I saw some photos how they have to work in Singapore and the poor conditions but some shorttime rooms in pattaya are certainly no better.
I think you make your life easier by accepting this then rather keep thinking that Pattaya is heaven on earth for them.
Also remember there are many fishes in the sea so buy that plane ticket and catch up with new ones instead of being grumpy
