Ah Stogie - so thats why we never made it to the sunee plaza tour and you answered your phone on several occassions with a breathless " cant talk now busy"!
As with Ae in a previous thread, I get the impression this is just a boy who's willing to put on makeup and wear lingerie solely to please a customer. This stretches the definition of ladyboy to include anyone who's prepared to put on lipstick and a nightie.
What's the point of visiting a place if it's too risky to talk to foreigners or drink alcohol?
If this is what awaits me at Sunee Plaza, I'll stick to sois 6 & 13.

It was an over generalization. I have talked to plenty of expats and other tourist farang in Sunee. Most of them are good people. I would have no problem drinking at any of the host bars there, but those types of bars are all gay in Sunee, and the mere mention of the word 'gay' sends many posters here running for cover, weeping, gnashing their teeth and wringing their hands.
I wouldn't drink booze in the go go bars there, because they are usually more expensive than the host bars and when I'm in a go go bar, I'm on the prowl and prefer to keep my wits, such as they are, about me. That would be the case not only in Sunee but any other area of Pattaya, Bkk, Patong, etc.

You keep swigging back the ale, pal. 'More rampant totty for us real men!' (UKTV quote!)
While it's true that there are some opportunistic boys who will 'slip into something more comfortable' to pay the rent, on this occasion and on the other girl (Ae) you mentioned, you are wrong. They are wannabe ladyboys.
Drinking heavily anywhere in Pattaya carries with it a certain element of risk and sois 6 to 13 aren't immune from them!
But it is true to say that the risk of assault and harassment is higher in Sunee.
I'm well within my comfort zone out there and the motorcycle drives all know me and where I stay.
