I bought a gold necklace at Jatujak Flea Market advertised as 22 karat gold earlier this month January 2026. Turns out it was fake and the seller father and daughter lied. The exact location is at SECTION 10, SOI 19. Always buy real gold sold as pure 24 karat at any store with a large red and yellow sign above the front door. Pattaya's south pattaya road, Chinatown Bangkok and MBK complex. Actually gold gas appreciated 100% in a very short time. Now US$4600 - 4700 today. Will keep going higher as long as Trump keeps ruining the US and world economies for the next 3 years. So buy gold at your own risk. I wouldn't. Just save your money.

BTW this past Thailand vacation is my last. Obsessions and B52 katoey bars have nothing but old broads. No good looking ones. Pattaya is dry, too. All uglies. Soi 7 had only 2 trannies and not worth visiting. I'm afraid the ladyboy craze is over. Done. Never returning. Those 20 hour flights ruin my back. Painful.

I think thee is actually more ladyboy bars than ever, but not in Nana Plaza there has been more. I think Nana is dying off for ladyboys, maybe they don't really want them anymore. The shift is more to lounge style bars in Bangkok. Cindy's, Check in, Check in 2, Why not, Chaos.

Pattaya has many new bars also but further north. Most of the ladyboy action has moved to Soi Buakao and further north. Katoey's are us moved there and Pook bar is still there, I believe. New Bar and Cindy's 2 are just off Buakao.
Further north is Barclays Gentleman's club and Peach Lily Bar plus New 69 Bar. There is a few others I can't remember. All the ladyboy action used to be near the beach now it's moved moved many blocks north.

I only buy gold in Thailand where ladyboys take me. Then I know it's real if I agree to buy them some.

Gold prices are now $4700 per ounce (2 bahts). You must be a very generous dude to buy such expensive presents. I sold a 1.5 ounce 24 karat necklace for B113k plus a pinkie ring for B13k. When I got home to Honolulu I sold my last 24k Thai necklace for US$2400. Nice profits. Won't buy any more Thai gold as I think it will peak soon. Then will drop like lead. Better pray Trump keeps jamming up European counties, Canada, and Greenland for the remainder of his 3 years as President. Seems many believe Vance will succeed as the next Republican President.

I did search for Cindy's Bar on the street next to Pattaya Soi Chiyapoon. Twice. No such a bar there. I give up.

I'm not buying them ounces of gold. Usually some suggest a small ring or chain then I may buy some for myself. Some will try to keep upgrading a little at a time by trading it in and getting a slightly bigger amount each time.

Cindy's is right off of Soi Buakhao in the old Baby Boom Bar location. Soi Chiyapoon has Barclay's and New 69 Bar. Peach Lily is close by on LK metro alley.
