    First Thailand legalized pot, now they are legalizing Casinos in Thailand.
    Government voted in favor of approving a Casino project in Bangkok. There will be restrictions on Thais gambling but they will take all the foreigners money.
    I guess Bangkok will now have every vice that anyone could want on vacation.

          They only are planning a casino for Bangkok right now.

          I have actually seen plans for a hotel and casino right on the spot you mention in Pattaya though...

            Yay! As I wrote on my visit to Pattaya 2 years ago. The ladyboy count plummeted and only ugly ones took the trouble to work. The casinos probably would keep out the katoeys, but hopefully they will open up bars on Sois 7 and 8. Near my favorite Sunshine Readence hotel. 3 star hotel still cheap at $70/day. 3 mini pools and still free breakfasts. In the meantime I'm heading over Vegas and the California Hotel. Got some shows plus Cabaret strip shows. Sad to see Siegfried and Roy put on such depressing last show on TV. Anyway devious prime ribs and barbecued steaks in Downtown Vegas. See ya later.

            I believe that's the Pattaya Hilton in that picture. Hope they add luxurious rooms, American, Thai, and Yamazaki style Benihana restaurants. And allow ladyboy ID passes. Get ready to dress up like Bond.
