Gota be Phuket for me. Purely because it has everything i want. Pattaya's nice for nightlife but not really feeling there beaches.

my vote was 'other'.....in terms of 'the best place i have ever seen', I have to go with Koh Phi Phi, which was not on the list. I have never been anywhere as beautiful, or relaxing, as when i spent 4 days there in late January.

BKK is a great place and I love Phuket also; those 3 could keep me happy for the rest of my life if that was all there were.

Dead serious, dude! I have been to Bangkok a few times now, though! It has a Burger King... that's about its only redeeming feature!

This trip I stayed in BKK for most of the time but my GF and I went to Chiang Mai and Koh Samed (not to be confused with Samui).

Chiang Mai was great and I would recommend anyone going to LOS to go for the weekend, the "girls" (GG or LB) are a great mix of Thai and Chinese which does it for me every time. A very relaxed place, with great sea food at incredibly cheap, no ludicrously cheap prices, my gf couldn't believe how cheap compared to BKK. The night market was great fun and again much cheaper than BKK. We went with 1 small over night bag and came back with 4!!!!

Koh Samed was great to relax on the beach on white sand and play in crystal clear water but be warned that it is almost 200 klicks crom BKK and not the 2 hour bus trip that they tell you at BKK Bus Station It is also well worth booking accomodation in advance as we got the last bungalow on the island for 3000 baht and it was pretty crap. That said we had a great time but it is more expensive than BKK.

Oh yes what did I vote for? I'm a city boy at heart so BKK had to get my vote, I love the place warts, smell and all!
