Visiting Las Vegas for Fun and a Shot

Well Fernanda and I managed to get to Las Vegas from Mexico with no problems. We had to enter the USA before November 8 to avoid vaccine travel mandates. All is good and we arrived at the Planet Hollywood resort for our first 3 days.

The first thing we did is get a taxi to take us to a legal weed store.
The first day we went out looking around and I bought a huge drink on the street, a Hurricanel.
It was $35 for the first one but refills with the mug are only $20, I was drunk from one.
This is the place to buy drinks in Las Vegas, bars are ridicously expensive on the strip.

Soon we need to try and find a vaccine for Fernanda.

We went out that night to have fun and Fernanda convinced me to guy her a new bag. She got all dressed up for some fun on the strip.

We went out for dinner first and the meal and 2 drinks we had were $300, not reasonable at all. The only compensation is drinks in the USA are always very strong so we were somewhat drunk. After we went to the Cabo Wabo Cantina for some $15 tequila shots and some Micheladas with Dos XXX beer.
We got quite drunk and lost money all the way up the strip.

We walked into Walgreens to ask about a vaccine and they had zero problems giving it to Fernanad. She got her second Pfizer shot and they took her record from Brazil as proof of the first shot. Pretty easy now she should be able to go to Canada.

After we walked around the area which was near the Sahara Hotel and Casino on the strip. Also by many wedding chapels, some offering wedding ceremonies by Elvis.

The Sahara was always my go to place in Vegas...it isn't right in the heart of the strip but it was good enough for the Beatles and Elvis back in the mid-60's
I see that they have done a complete re-model on it recently...wonder if it's still got that vibe ??
I did stay at the Strat one time and the resturaunt up top is pretty good...superb views

Well it is not that busy around the Strat and Sahara area as further south. A couple blocks north of the Strat it turns into dangerous drug head place, not safe to walk.
The hotel and casino beside the covention center has been sitting half finished since 2009 after the recession killed it.

We ended up moving to the Circus Circus because it was cheaper. It is not the greatest hotel as it is older but everything here is cheaper than other areas of the strip.
It has and amusement park and midway plus other features. It will do for our trip.
Buffet still closed.....

Most locations only had Pfizer and moderna vaccines. I saw some places had Johnson.
She already had one Pfizer shot in Rio so that is what we got free.
The UBER app offers vaccine trips for free.

We are headed to stay at my place in Canada in 2 weeks. She has never seen snow.

Only Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates could afford to winter in Las Vegas.

Stopped for Thai food then went to a couple's sex shop.

Went to see Cirque du soleil Mystere show it was very good.
