Hello from Germany,
i'm a Newbie here and hope somebody can help me.
During the Songkran Days i'm in Bangkok and have to stay in the ASIA Hotel (inside this was the Calypso Cabaret Show).
SOmebody know this Place is Ladyboy friendly ?

But just in case, wonder arund, and find the porter or security guy, Grease a bit (100 Baht) and you'll be surprised how easily the doors open
One thing thou, she will have to register at the security and leave her ID as in any other hotel in BKK
Enjoy the Show, and Wear Sunglasses outside as during Songkran there is a habbit to get water thrown at you from just about anyplace, and Straight in the face, not knowing how Clean that water is,will definitely cause you infections

Hey there dude,

I've stayed there a couple of times. Good hotel and nice rooms. I got double occupancy last time so I never had to pay the guest fee or go to security. I think the fee was B500 for guests. They are lb friendly, never had any problems there. What was funny was they had a lift attendant there that always saluted me everytime I went into the lift - most bizarre !!

I've never seen the cabaret show there either so cannot vouch for the girls there but it would be nice to know if you could hook up with them after the show ! Then that would be literally ladyboys at your doorstep ! Most convenient for you especially on your first night after a long flight.

Beware the taxi drivers outside - just politely ignore them or they will hassle you !

That's actually what I did. I stayed there once for a couple of days only because of the show girls (I have to admit that I have this weakness for show-girls and even for these weird shows) what I found pretty convenient. Although you have to be quick. Most of them jump on the backseats of their Thai bf's motorbikes right after the show. And the hotel is very aware of that and eager to charge you too much for this little extra. I found those discussions at the reception extremely annoying, that's why I always take a double room. They're nicer, have bigger beds and are used for that purpose - at least for a couple of hours a day - anyway.

Check the matress of the room first, sometimes the springs are completely worn out (I wonder how that happened ?)
