reading all these replies makes me realize.......my next trip anywhere will be alone, unless I can find a 'girlfriend' type like I had before who is willing to go just for the enjoyment of being with me in a nice place. paying a girl for her time, plus her bar, plus her food and drinks, shopping, etc.....is never happening in my lifetime. I prefer travelling alone anyway....I set my own agenda and can do what I want, anytime I want to.

i am amazed that chompoo ..or anyone woold condemn jon for his stance on this forum.i imagine jon...and his website has put millions and millions of baht into the bottomless pockets of many ladyboys.......and the good ones deserve it.....as for the greedy ones who don't appreciate what jon and the internet has done for them.....no comment here.but many guys pay a fortune for their computer,internet connection,access to websites,airfares,accomodation,taxis.....and some have the hide to complain they don't get enough money for a few hours or days with a guy????????what bull****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes, that is true, BigKev, that we have made many many ladyboys some major league cash. and my dear friend Chompoo never condemned me personally; she is one of the girls that has made money from here because we have referred many guys right to her doorstep. there are others who have made lots of dough; I hear girls tell me all the time that 'so -and-so took me away for 1 week and gave me 30,000Baht' and things like that, and i am happy to hear that. But Chompoo did mention last week that many of the girls are angry because the stance I have taken up here as far as not sending cash while guys are away from Thailand. Seems as though either a few of them surreptitiously read this forum [unlikely] or some guys finally woke up and stopped sending cash based on my advice [more likely], and the girls are unhappy. Oh, well.....as I have always said and will continue to say, 'treat the girls fairly while you are with them'.....if they want to send cash after that, it is entirely up them, but it is a practice i do not endorse.

regarding vacations.....reading these posts has made me realize even more that it is indeed a job for these girls, and despite how much they hate Obsessions or KC3 they would prefer to go to work for a week and make 20,000 baht than lay around some beach with me for nothing. so rather than insult Chompoo by offering such a deal, i will just go back to Phi Phi myself next month and she can continue making the dough at her bar. better for everyone, because I am sure as hell not forking over that kind of dough for a 'companion' for a week; i am frankly not that lonely.

as we have said up here many times, the girls usually do not stop working, that's for sure. that's why i feel as though it's a bad practice, but people continually part with their hard-earned cash and send it to ladyboys who they think are exclusively theirs, but whom work in Obsessions or somewhere similar. Guys who send 40 or 50,000 baht per month to 'suport' their girlfriends really need to look in a mirror and say 'can't this money be put to better use'?, like helping a poor thai family or even pay some more of their own bills off? As Chuckwow said up here, "I am not sure what you guys think your support money is buying, but it sure as hell ain't loyalty!"

If I ever find a girl i REALLY like and whom I think I want to spend some serious time with in BKK, I would be happy to support her while I am here and she is with me 24/7 and giving me sex and helping me with the house, etc..... but the moment she is out of my site, IE, I travel back to the states for a few months, the cash flow stopns immediatelly.

I know a girl pretty well who met some clown from the USA who decided to start unloading his pockets on her in a bid to win her heart, and it may have worked for a while. he was buying her all sorts of stupid shit and even has volunteered to pay for her full SRS surgery at 100,000 baht, and yes, believe it or not, gave her access to his ATM machine with her own card. of course this would buy her loyalty, right? at least until he comes back to hold his sweetie in his arms again, right?

wrong....she is freelancing in front of Nana Plaza these days and will go with anyone with a few thousand baht. which just goes to show that 'enough is never enough' and no matter how much you spend your girl will never sit home alone and watch TV waiting for your return.
