Ok - I did read it. Some stories are 100% true, some are fiction, some maybe true. I think I can find stories like this about every country. Normal life I would say.

T.I.T. .... Actually I believe every single story here. I've heard so many of them in my life, saw so many broken farang that this doesn't surprise me at all.
But one thing we should never forget: I's the bargirls world he's describing here and I doubt that this is different to any other 3rd world country. It's not Thai mentality, it's Thai bargirls mentality he's describing and it only became such a big issue because this country accumulates more prostitutes than any other SE Asian country. And as long as there are enough stupid farang who really go for serious relationships/marriages with those girls it will remain like this. Good post, my friend. I agree with every word! Bangkok hookers ain't my life and I'd be just as happy to never ever meet one again. (Having said that, the ones I have met have been charming and pleasant - just not my area of expertise!)
