I don't think these Asian tourists perfer the bar scenes of Thailand. I have never seen Indians or Chinese in Ladyboy bars. Did a group of adventurous Japanese men in Katoeys r Us in Walking Street Pattaya but none in Sois 6,7, and 8. Trouble is Asian Asians are afraid to be seen in public entering ladyboy bars. Can't chance being seen otherwise they will lose face forever. Maybe they just pickup a date and ask them to go to their hotels alone for private liasions. I believe the richer Westerners will continue to come. Just got to wait until the recession ends then they will all return. Bummer if the Thai junta takes this as an opportunity to start limiting the bars with new crackdowns on prostitution, bars, and alcohol consumption. Then I will have to find a new place to vacation and there's no place like LOS. None.
