Hey! What happened. I couldn't reach you.

For a few desperate days I coulld reach this website. I thought you went bankrupt like the LBWV contest and so many LB bars. Thought maybe the Thai Reputation cops finally shut you down. What happened?

Did they attack your forum or all the websited hosted in the same server ? I find it Strange that someone wants to attack a forum with such a small activity.

They targeted the busier sites on the servers which blocked out some of the smaller sites.
Moved the sites they don't care about to other servers.

I am afraid that not everything was fixed. I checked trip reports. If a thread has more than one page, it's just impossible to read after the page 1 as if all the posts had been deleted. I Added a post (just saying "up") in a TR. It appears in the lists but it's impossible to read it.

If you refresh the page the additional posts show.
I think that may be because we added Cloudflare on the front end.
            https://www.cloudflare.com/

This helps protect the site like a firewall.
However it also tries to speed the site up by caching content.
So i have tried to turn down the caching a bit.
May take a little tweaking to get it to work with the forums perfectly.

Cloudflare also allows us to block the site by countries if necessary.

            thanks for the heads up.

I have just checked. I have done Nothing special but it seems to be working again. In my TR, photos are missing in one post. I should say one post only. It's much less damage than what I feared. I can see I can still edit. I will add pics when I have time soon.

I know there is no damage. Sometimes attachments disappear with this software, not sure why.

I started fixing it, regretfully I don't have much time. I Added the photo of a ladyboy in Siem Reap and started adding photos dealing with touristic places in Vietnam. I posted photos I hadn't posted before. In order to do it correctly, I will keep on adding photos next week end or later.

Am having problems getting my username and password. Forgot them. Site doesn't even recognize my email address so doesn't respond. Even sent you an email and no reply. Think I'll have to re-join under George Pill 2 with a new password.

The email settings got changed to make the site more secure and may have not been set up right.
It should be working better now.

Malicious cyber attacks against non-government or non-big business sites are most likely due to some bored teen hacker in his mom's basement.

The serious cyber attacks against government and big business tend to be either foreign governments looking to disrupt other governments and business or criminal hackers that seek to profit from holding domains hostage.

In this case it was probably a competing escort site in Canada.
I don't think this was some kid, it was too powerful and morphed between different attacks.
No kid could muster attacks of this power, you need a huge zombie network to achieve this.
It is most likely they have local or foreign mafia backing.
                            I have no backing......

Wow, that's really surprising news! It seems now that these big time hackers are selling there services. This is bad news for a site that suffers such a severe attack. Congratulations on successfully moving things around to bring your sites back online.
