Songkran and Gay Pride dates?

Songkran 2019 will be on April 13-15. But I can't find the dates for Thailand Gay Pride Day in Bangkok. How many days is it and is there one in Bangkok? Need to plan ahead. Never been to Thailand except for the winter months when it is cooler and drier.

I would guess that it hasn't been planned for 2019 yet . Quick search is blank so I would check regularly in a few months. Probly need to get permits etc and the wheels of fun move slowly in the halls of bureaucracy.

This post says the first Gay Pride in Bangkok in 11 years was supposed to be held May 2017.
It was then moved to November 2017 then it was cancelled due to the King's passing.

That page says to monitor this profile for updates on the next pride, but there doesn't seem to be anything yet.

During Songkran also one of the largest gay circuit events is held in Bangkok in the Gay area of Silom.
I think this is the gay event of the year in Bangkok, pride is not really entrenched.

Google Bangkok Songkran. Really a spectacular and fun event. I plan to attend the next one. Will have to do and pay my tax returns earlier. Probably have to plan my air reservations and hotel earlier like January.

Other than the gay venues, where are the best places where I can photograph regular people? I want to shoot Thais together with tourists from all over the world splashing each other. Where are the 3 biggest celebrations? Hopefully I can get there by skytrain. I want to know so I can plan a hotel reservation near these places. I know they will be all day celebrations of madness so will need a place to rest, recharge my camera and flash batteries, and download into my computer. What hotels are good for these locations? Don't they celebrate at the entrance of Nana Plaza?

In Bangkok the number one spot for Songkran is in Silom. They have shows and I think this is the official location.
Probably more family oriented than other places but largest.

Khaosan Road will be your second largest, but wildest, Songkran location with a very young crowd.
For sure you will see the craziest drunkest wettest Songkran here and there is many ladyboys, especially around Lucky Bar.

Ratchada and So1 4 around the nightclub district has a celebration also.
There is some action on Nana but not as much as some other places.

Obviously Walking Street in Pattaya would be a prime Songkran location.

That looks cool . One year soon I shall go there springtime for songkran. Hope to one day spend 6 month stints in Thailand till I cant travel anymore...
