Miss International Queen 20018 March 9, 2018, Tiffany Theatre, Pattaya

Due to the official mourning period Miss International Queen 2017 was rescheduled into 2018 - and for those of you in Pattaya on the first week of March - it's a treat as this is probably one of the most beautiful group of contestants vying for the crown! There will be some promotional events before the final on March 9, so if you're in Pattaya keep your eyes open and watch out for a chance to see them for free.

With this group of contestants it will be tough for Miss Tiffany Universe 2017 - Nong Yoshi to win the crown and since it is rare for a country to win consecutive titles the odds are stacked against her.

Here are the 28 contestants for this year - their PR photos look great, will be interesting to see more of them when they do their introductory videos.

Nong Yoshi is one of my favorites, but seeing as the odds are stacked against her, Vietnam, Peru, Venezuela, Brazil and Japan look pretty good!

Definitely a very competitive group of contestants this year! I was taking another look and Miss Australia reminds me of Nicole Kidman. We will have a better idea when each of the contestants posts her introductory video. I find it interesting that the Philippines is limited to one entry this year - in previous contests they have had 2-3. There are also a few countries that seem to be the first time entries, Mongolia, and China (via Macau).

It's not the best night to go to the bars.
If the ladyboys aren't at the show they are all gathered around the television watching.
Service suffers and liquor sales are down. Lady drink revenue take a significant hit.

In Canada it is cold so we have to decide without seeing the body often.
Faces, Necks and Ankles are often all we can see.....

Rinrada Thurapan (that's Nong Yoshi's other name) is of course amazing.

In some of her poses, she looks like another beauty who used to be on Thai Friendly and Craigs List Bangkok, Mary Pine. Mary's a post op now.

Crag, that is so true about Canada! Magical - I think Nong Yoshi is better looking than Mary, but it is a close call.

Note the winner of the talent quest was Miss Vietnam and she was not lip syncing, that's her real voice as she is a singer in Vietnam.
