Wouldn't it be nice if this event were held in Las Vegas?

They could not have it in Vegas as the Thai lbs could not afford to fly there, plus the costs to produce the show would be at least twice or more the cost of doing it in Thailand.

They used to have the Miss Tiffany Universe contest winner enter the Miss Universal Queen contest in the USA, but after winning 2-3 years in a row, they informed the Tiffany group they were no longer welcome.

Here's the preliminary round that was held on Thursday - the contestants are wearing bikinis for the swimsuit section as compared to a once piece on the final night.

If you go to bars in Nana, specifically Obsessions or Charades bars they have former Tiffany's contestants working there.
Just ask the mamasan and they can probably help you if a show girl is what you are looking for.

For those who did not catch the live stream, here is the full video of the final. The winner was 28, Nong Yoshi, 1st runner up no. 29, Nong Rock and 2nd runner up no. 2, Nong Tonlek.

I was able to attend the contest this year - it was quite full, so we were only able to get seats up in the first balcony in the first 1/3 rows. This also affected my photos as there was a clear safety panel at the front of the balcony. I would estimate we were about 300 feet away from the stage. I was using my 55-300 Sony 4.5 lens, and Sony Alpha 57 DLSR.

This was the 20th anniversary of the Miss Tiffany Universe contest, and they were able to get 16 of the previous Miss Tiffany winners to open the contest. Without further ado, here are some of the photos I took of the contest.

After the 16 former Miss Tiffany Universe winners entered, Miss Tiffany 2016 did the opening number. The 30 contestants then came on stage. Although 5 were already eliminated on the reality episodes, all were introduced for the final night.

Wow nice photos, especially the ones in blue dress with blue background and blue lighting really hard to pull out the subjects.
Wouldn't know there is a barrier in the way except you said so.
You are a master of low light, especially only using a 4.5.

Even though I own a Canon now, I always felt my previous Sony camera took the most crisp and clear photos of any camera I have owned.

Thanks Crag, for most of the photos I was shooting close to 300mm so it was actually more like 5.6, and I was at ISO3200 for many shots. The clear safety panel will show up in later photos when the contestants are closer to the front of the stage.
