I'm not sure. Don't really feel like flying 18 hours just to see a beauty contest. Like football watching them on TV is better. Someone should make a documentary or copy the televised show and put it online like at YouTube.

Jiratchaya Sirimongkolnawin is quite the handle, hard to become a house hold name.

It is interesting how most of the ladyboys in Thailand like to show their whole history including childhood as a boy etc.
In North America and other cultures TS never like to let anyone see their boy pics much.

An update due to the rescheduling of the contest, no. 27 Mishella from Spain and no. 28 Italia Navarette from Mexico have withdrawn. If you go to the Miss International Queen homepage, all the current contestants have an introductory video and gallery set up.

The contest will be broadcast live on Thai TV Channel 7, and live streamed on the Miss International Queen Youtube channel.

If you are in Pattaya the week of March 10, 2017, there will be promotional events going on. You can find out the schedule of events from the Tiffany Theatre. Some of these will be free and open to the public, so this is your chance to get close to international tg beauty queens!

I swear that Peru looks exactly like a GG. Who would know? And, she speaks beautiful Castilian Spanish. So nice to hear instead of the garbage Spanish that Mexicans and Puerto Ricans speak.

South American countries have won the title a couple of times now - I think the MIQ 2013, Marcela Ohio from Brazil is one of the most beautiful winners - she's quite tall about 181 cm (6 ft tall) great for her modeling career.

Having watched the contest, I thought Miss Laos should have been in the final 3, and I was partial to Miss Japan, no. 10.


The Filipinas had a strong representation - besides the maximum 2 from each country, Miss USA no. 10, Camille Anderson and Miss Japan no. 10, Maika Kunisaki are also Filipinas - but passport holders for the countries they represent.

First runner up, Miss Brazil had her SRS done in Thailand and here is a short video of her doing a promotional segment for Kamol Cosmetic Hospital. She looks better in this video than she did in the contest.
