This would probably never happen in Muay Thai because they tend to try to use clinches to stop their opponents from get a strike from a distance.
The whole idea is tying up the body but getting loose to throw knees and punches. However most of these strikes are coming from the side and not straight on.

So I don't think they would generally have enough room to throw a blow like this. Plus usually in Muay Thai they wear big boxing gloves that would never crush a guys skull like that.
Although sometimes they do barefist Muay Thai but not in most Professional bouts.

Good vids. I'm too old to start learning Muay Thai. I think I'll stick to fighting ladyboys who are trying to rob me. They fight like girls. Actually I'm not trying to fight them. Just get them away from me.
