ATM fees free during Songkran

All participating bank machines with the ATM and CDM designations are free during the 2016 Songkran celebrations.
The no-fee period starts on midnight on April 13 and ends on April 17 at 11pm

Wish it was when I was actually in LOS! The 200 Baht fees for foreign ATM cards is likely to increase more in the future - they started off at 120Baht and have gone up almost annually ever since.

Wish it was when I was actually in LOS! The 200 Baht fees for foreign ATM cards is likely to increase more in the future - they started off at 120Baht and have gone up almost annually ever since.

Well if you go in high season you are going to pay more for everything.
This is part of their thinking perhaps that you will be so happy to save banking fees you will spend more money.

However it is probably really helpful if you are a Thai with only a few hundred baht in their account.
