I've used Corel Draw Graphics suite for 30 years.
http://www.coreldraw.com/en/product/...sign-software/
It cost more on the first purchase but they upgrades are cheap and they send out really good deals.
The most popular is Photoshop but they only offer cloud subscriptions, you cannot just buy the software outright anymore.
(eg: you have to pay monthly forever.)
Corel you can stay on the same version as long as you want and not have to connect to the internet.
Corel photo paint is the app inside the suite.
However Corel draw is the ultra famous graphics software that much of the industry used but is now not as popular.
Origianlly it was owned by a Canadian known for his extravagant lifestyle.
Corel Draw Suite or Adobe Photo Shop are the only two products I would recommend for professional and no loss of quality.

Great photos Crag and George!
George, there is also Adobe Photoelements, which is like a "lite" version of Adobe Photoshop. Photoshop is really chock full of features that takes quite some time to learn. I would also go with Crag's other recommendation of Corel Photo Paint.
As Crag posted the problems with the recent versions of Adobe software is they are cloud based - so you are paying a monthly subscription for them.

Now I know which software to look at when I return to the States. CRAG, do you shoot in RAW? I hear you can edit them more. BTW the blonde in the purple is WOODY, and they don't call her that for nothing. She is wonderful Katoey with a sincere personality. Loves to drink with you, genuine sincere smiles, and nice young bod. Only 21! Don't know how to get her incredible color photos to her as I keep getting my emails with them returned to me as "undeliverable". Earlier I was able to send a dozen successfully with 4 pics each. Then they were stopped. Not even decreasing the pics to three does it. Wonder if the Thai Internet censors are sneaking into my life or Thailand has cheapo telecom services. Can't give Woody an SD card because she doesn't have a laptop. Anyway come on over to King's Castle on Soi 8 Pattaya Beach. She's a darling with a good heart. Promise. Love her smiles everytime I pass by.
Corel Photoshop it is. Will check out the book at my local Barnes & Noble bookstore. Gonna have to invest in a Canon 420 flash with a white diffuser. I have just discovered a perfect way to use my three new LED lights to light up my hotel room. Just angle them UP at the ceiling as bounce lighting. This way you can eliminate the strong shadows and light glares that you get if you point them directly at your subjects. You can mount them on tripods or just place them on towels on the desk, bed, or floor and angle them up correctly for a good bounce. My photos improved immensely, and I am happy. While I was at Pantip Plaza the computer center I saw a lot of Neewer flashes. They suggested the 600 model. How are these Chinese copies. I'm sure there are some deficiencies, and don't know if they will last. Seems to be a lot of 4-5 star reviews on Amazon.com. Are they worthy? Am especially interested in wireless communication with my new Canon 80D if I place one or two Canon 430 flashes in the room.
Thanks again, CRAG.
