and on that subject, anyone help with an example of how a new visitor and LB admirer woudl go about organising an intinery from the accomdation and nite life side

hi there and thanks for the nice comments, and we are so happy to have you aboard! as an Aussie you have the advantage of being able to jump over to Thailand anytime and have a ball and we obviously encourage you to do that.

here is my idea as far as time allotment;

if you have 1 week, try Bangkok and Pattaya for about 3 or 4 days each; you can't go wrong in either place. If you have 2 weeks, definately head down to Phuket for 4 or 5 days, and also pattaya and BKK for 4 or 5 days each. if you have 3 weeks, do each city for a week each!!! you will never believe how much fun you will have my friend

I will be happy to answer any and all questions and will even help you plan your trip, and can even suggest the girls that are the best for your type of interest. also take the advice of the other guys and read the tourism section, as well as the updates we did from each city; January 1, 2003 from Pattaya; june 15 2003 from Chiang Mai; march 27 and september 20, 2002, as well as september 1 2003 from Phuket. all those 'asianTS impressions' pages were written by me and have a vast array of activities which will amuse you on your travels, i hope. also we did one from Koh Samui on january 1, 2004, but unless you have a long visit in Thailand i would leave that place off the itinerary; you can do better ladyboy-hunting in the other 3 places.

Little-it depends on how much time you have but I would say dont make over elaborate plans-go with the flow. It aint too tough-check out my trip reports in, you guessed it, The Trip Reports Section! BE CAREFUL OUT THERE!!
