I spoke about a month ago about a book that i picked up in the BKK airport called "The Third Sex; Thailand Kathoeys". Just got done reading it and it was fascinating, and must-read material for ladyboy lovers. The only part that I had a hard time believing was that many of these ladyboys who head into being hookers were surprised that they would actually have to sleep with strange men someday for money; I believe that the stories of sex for sale in places like pattaya and phuket and BKK are well-known throught the Kingdom, and these young ladyboys know exactly what they are getting into.
The girl on the cover is a new friend named Ae. she came over for a shoot when we were in Chiang Mai and she will be featured in the CM update coming up. Very nice girl; it was strange working with her because I viewed her as a minor celebrity. It's not every day that you work with someone who is on the cover of a book, and one that is seen by thousands of people looking at her in book stores.
pick up this book if you see it; it is pretty good.
