It's refreshing to know that I am not the only person who gets asked for money. I like to chat online, and I am now so used to it (particularly from Filipina t-girls) that I watch for the signs. I usually get picked on by being told that they prefer older men (I'm 62 for fuck's sake - no-one prefers me to a 35 year old), that I am good looking (or 'cute'), and that they love me. Usually this happens within a week or so.

Then they have a problem. Rent, tuition fees at school, hormone pills, medication for a dying parent, and always to be sent by Western Union and thanks $100 will cover it.

On the other hand, it is quite refreshing when it doesn't happen. I've been chatting to a 33 year old girl from Manilla for about six months now. Has a reasonable job as a University researcher, shares a house with several friends to save money, has had two long-term relationships, and is looking to settle down. I tested the waters recently when she had a really bad cold, asking if she needed any help paying for medication. She said not at all. Thanks.

Like I say, rare as rocking horse shit, but refreshing when it happens. On the other hand, she may be saving it all up to ask me for a car.

On both my 2 last trips I've met GG's who claimed one of their parents died when I stayed in Pattaya. None of them have asked for money, so I do not understand why they would lie about it? Maybe to get sympathy?

GG Hookers lie...never. Although research has shown that their parents die on the average of 6-10 times in a year every year for the last 5 or 6 years that they are in the game! Hard to diffute that kind of research!!

Actually one LB I went with said I could pay her in foreign currency.

But it did get me thinking she wouldn't know the exchange rate and you could give her 1000s of lira and she'd think she'd got the jackpot.
