Can't say I agree that any illegal drugs are good. I have seen the effect they have too many times to even consider doing any myself.

Even alcohol can have a devastating impact on a persons life. You are right about it depends on who takes them as some people just seem to have addictive personalities and will get hooked on just about anything.

just to be clear, i'm not referring only to "illegal drugs" with regard to their being bad or good or 'depends'. although the breadth of the currently growing global meth epidemic is mind-boggling, there is probably still more death and destruction due to legal drugs (uppers, downers, painkillers, etc) than due to illegal drugs. and that doesn't even include the usual conversation-stoppers alcohol, tobacco, caffeine and sugar.
mis-used drugs of *any* sort are often disasters waiting to happen. and i certainly don't mean to encourage illegal drug use. i agree with earlier posters who opine that working girls take meth because it makes them think/feel as though they're sexually excited and thus it allows them to get thru their day. and night. and customer after customer. not unlike the abuse of 'mother's little helper' by bored and stressed housewives or alternate versions of amphetamines (usually weaker and thus more slowly toxic than meth-amphetamine) used by everyone from cramming students to all-night truckers. drugs have wreaked great havoc in our world, no doubt.
but i think they are much more a symptom than a cause. and if the famed u.s. 'war on drugs' had been fought instead on the depressive and disillusioning elements that drive many to drug abuse, we'd all have been much better off.
ok i'll get off the soapbox.
next thing i'll be calling religion a drug (it's certainly addictive) and blaming "drugs" for the situation in pakistan.

The "jaw" thing is a bit of a cliche to be honest, that happens to people on E not Ice......just take a look at the femboy gallery thread......so easy to see that most of them use.....they're skinny as fuck, it's a dead give away.....

Some pointers - obvious ones:

Paranoia (which may well seem like an unusually high number of "misunderstandings" a long the lines of "why you speak that??")

Restlessness - even after a marathon sex session

Aggression - At seemingly innocuous things

Overly talkative - Meth heads talk bollocks, even if no one is listening

Less obvious signs:

Soft pack fags - The foil is used to smoke from

Bad or missing teeth - Meth for some reason fucks them up bad

Acne - Tough one with LBs cos of the hormones but the drug zaps away essential vitamins which can cause bad skin....also the lack of food means they don't replace said vitamins...

Chocolate smell - in the hair, or possibly emanating from the toilet, yaba when burnt has a chocolate smell.....

Generally speaking, if you p4p you will not be able to avoid going with users, there are only really two big concerns to think about - first of all the drug (much like alcohol) removes inhibitions, which means your partner will be much less likely to care about safe sex, obviously if they are like that with you, then chances are, they are like that with every customer, so be smart......

The other potential problem is that to get tomorrows fix, the may be more tempted to steal, I know for a fact a number of the working girls where I live do, so it would come as no surprise if it happens elsewhere too, they are smart about how they do it, and you may not notice until it's too late, if at all.....

Apart from that I'd agree with Thaibounds post, and add that I've lived in Thailand since before thaksin's (no capital for that tw@) "war on drugs" and the only thing that's changed is the amount of money the dealers make (approx 10 times more than before the "war") The use hasn't decreased as a result, but increased.....draw your own conclusions.....

Your totally right... I big prob I see with their use is that really, they cannot AFFORD to be meth addicts... its EXPENSIVE... many lBS go through several Grams per day... do you know many LBs who can afford a 10000 baht per day habit without getting it from "less than honest" means?

Another good sign is the classic RED EYE... It pretty much means they havent slept for days (which is pretty much an indicator they are on meth)...

This isnt just here... Meth IS HUGE in the sex industry EVERYWHERE... If you are watching a porn made in the US, odds are those people are on meth... Ive worked in the industry over there (and here) sex industry = meth... even more so when its a "gay" sex industry... only difference I would say is that in the USA some prefer to do coke instead... and here coke isnt really common... In Brasil (where I shoot as well) I was actually surprised... Meth barely exists there.. probably because cocaine is so dirt cheap...

Anyway... My guess would be that 80% of ladyboys working in bars do meth atleast occasionally...

Excuse my ignorance but can anyone explain the difference of ice, yabba,exctasy, meth, crystal, ketamine, amphetamine etc.

Never come across Yabba, Crystal, Meth or Ice but im pretty sure Crystal and methelene are mixed together on a spoon pretty much the same way as Heroin to purify it, Cocaine based. Ecstacy was thre club drug of the 80s 90s MDMA based mixed with alsorts washing up powder, flour, anything to water it down. Ketemine or Special K is a very dangerous drug for overdose as it is a horse tranquiliser to much and you dont wake up. Amphetamine used a lot by women or men who want to lose weight more commonly known in the UK as Speed or Wizz or Free Base which is a purer form. Of the ones that i would consider were more towards Amphetamines are probably Ecstasy and Speed maybe Crystal Meths. Never come across Yabba maybe thats a form or Thai slang for CM .In my experience in mixing with people who have abused drugs in the past is there is no point in trying to talk them off it , you might as well talk to a brick wall. The only way for them to get off the stuff is only if they want to, however with some abusers they have their own reasons to themselves not to confront their demons head on instead if getting blasted of their nuts and burying their heads in the sand. I dont mean to be funny but just look at the lifstyle of a bar girl i suppose its just their way of escapeism. Or maybe it costs less to get high rather than eat. All drugs are a depressent wether it be Alcohol, Heroin or E and when abused theres only one way they are going
