  • Boob Jobs and HIV

Can ladyboys get boob jobs in hospitals if they test positive for HIV?

    How about clinics?

    Same question for SRS?

  • #2
In Thailand, most hospitals and clinics will refuse a patient for those procedures if they are HIV +ve. Also if they are Hepatitis positive too.

If they are going for regular non-surgical care, they generally will not be refused.

I was not aware of any surgeons, hospitals or clinics that would carry out SRS or breast enhancement on a person who is HIV+ so I'd be interested in your evidence that "many" do.

Of course everything is possible for a price - this IS Thailand, after all, so it wouldn't surprise me, but I've not heard of any that do.

for a second, when i saw the headline only...i thought that somebody asked if they could caught HIV by a "boob-job"

          well...it did make me laugh...

but-but-but...when i think about the real matter of this question...iam not sure...lets say people needs ANY kind of surgery (appendix or simulary)...well they maybe not always have time to check people before... and like Stogie wrote..TIT...so money will decide i think...

but if your hemaglobine(red bloodcells) are to low...i know for a fact...that they will say no untill they can "pump" it up...and also your blood preasure have to be okay before they operate...unless its a matter of life or death....
all the ladyboys i know laughs when we have sex.....no matter what book they read

So a girl who just got a boob job is less likely to have HIV than her siter who didn't get the op.

Cause we know she tested negative recently. True, the test could be wrong or or she contracted HIV and it didn't show on the test yet.

The flip side of this is a top earner who's been in the game for awhile without tits maybe doesn't have the tits cause she's HIV+. Or maybe she spent all her monet on yaba. Or maybe she just doesn't want tits.

I'm not suggesteing that one ride bareback on a girl with new tits.

But if I knew a girl was HIV+ I would not be with her even with condoms.

Being with sex workers is high risk behaviour, So I think it's wortwhile to mitigate the risk.

Hmm, now I think I understand one of the reasons why you asked the question! Well, actually as has been discussed the test is only reliable for the actual day of the test and if you happen to be the first customer after a negative test.

As for hospitals and clinics in Thailand that will perform surgery on HIV+ patients - I would think it is uncommon, but TIT, and most everything has its price!

batman4ever is also right, certain other conditions can postpone surgical procedures as well.

Silicone is usually a deal breaker for me anyway, I like feminine but with swollen nipples and hormone titties

I think it's not a very good safety test. As rx said, the test is only valid for the hour during which it was made!

For lookers without boobs, it would be a shame to skip them thinking it might be related to HIV. Most of the time it's related to cash, and I've found the odd girl that doesn't want boobs too (who are good looking), granted, that is rare.

Let's face it, we are most certainly doing high risk play, and no algorithm will work except extremely safe sex or none.

I forget the name, but years ago learned of a hospital that would do it. I learned of it when reading about a post-op TS community leader who was HIV+ when she had SRS in Thailand.

It's rare, it costs more money, but a careful surgeon shouldn't be nicking himself or his staff anyway. Every surgery should be treated as potentially exposing some kind of blood-borne pathogen, and treated with care. I think that the HIV+ surcharges are just a way to get more money from the patients.

Retired the top 12.  Need a new dirty dozen.

Update: The new list is coming together: Nong Poy, Anita, Nok, Gif, Liisa Winkler, Kay, Nina Poon.  Is it possible to find 5 more?  Until then, GGs:  Jessica Alba, Yuko Ogura, Zhang Ziyi, Maggie Q, and Gong Li.

Not sure how it relates specifically to boob jobs, but surgery on a HIV positive person is considered based on their CD4 count and viral load level. So for example, someone on treatment who has a high cd4 count and a undetectable viral load count is for example able to have a liver transplant in the UK. However to be at a high CD4 count and undectable viral load level (ie basically the same as any person without HIV, and thus running the same risk of complications as with any surgery) would have normally been on these medicines for at least two years, possibly more. I would imagine if someone is under a decent HIV specialist and a 3 way discussion takes place involving the cosmetic surgeon, that they would undertake the surgery if the person really pushes for it, however in all liklihood, the HIV specialist would likely suggest that ANY voluntary surgery is a risk not worth taking - life threatening illness is a different matter altogether (ie the case of having a liver transplant for liver diseases). This is becoming increasingly common in the west, where fatalities from HIV itself are tiny these days when people are on treatment regimes and follow them closely.

An example of routine surgery is when a lady is pregnant and with HIV - the standard method of birth is by cesarean delivery which of course is a surgical procedure, however the belief is that the risk is far lower to the child than normal delivery method. For this approach, the treating doctors will be looking to having the viral load level at undetectable levels and with a high cd4 count.

The situation of undertaking a HIV test before a boob job will likely find a person who has a reduced cd4 count and a substantial viral load presence, thus rendering any surgery a very dangerous situation due to the far greater risk of infection and the bodies already weakened immune system unable to cope with any surgery related infections.

By the way, liver disease to my knowledge is not routinely checked for when assessing the suitability of a candidate for a breast operation as one would assume, there is little risk of cross contamination. From what I have seen and read, only HIV is checked and a cursory CBC blood check.

                      Cheers
                      Mardhi

New tits, now that is something to think about. Think I can get any trade in value to get my titties replaced?
