Pattaya or Bangkok - a dilemma

Good Morning,
I am in a bit of a dilemma on what to do when I arrive in Bangkok to live in September and I thought whom best to ask for advice but you fine people.
I am going to have 3 nights to €œplay€ prior to heading to Surin for a week or two and I can€™t decide to go to Pattaya or to just stay in BKK for the 3 nights. I have been to Pattaya a number of times before, so there is no big thing about having to see Pattaya, but I would like to go to Club 131 and check out the club and a couple of particular girls there (June and Kwang), but then again there is Joy at Guess Bar anyone that has read posting of mine know that I believe Joy to be about the finest looking LB in Thailand. Plus there is also Nana and the clubs there; the women of BKK are just so special.
Dilemma #2 is - A friend of mine might show up in Thailand and run around with me, but he is a LB virgin and is very nervous, so I€™m thinking Guess Bar would be perfect for him, but as long as he is with someone, anyplace would be ok. He has a thing for Jane at Guess Bar and though he is adamant that he€™s not gay (rolling my eyes) and he is firm in saying that he would NOT be a bottom for any LB, he does want experience spending time with Jane. I know Jane would be fine spending time with a guy who just wants to be with her and who wants to play the huggy kissy thing with her with a blowjob in the end. I personally think he€™s scared to death, but after 15 minutes on the couches with those Guess Bar girls, he will quickly stop saying €œI€™m not gay€€¦haha. September is still slow so when I have been trying to ddecide, I have thought about costs of the girls Pattaya vs. BKK, traveling back and forth to Pattaya, plus, the quality of the girls themselves. BKK does have a lot of LB bars versus Pattaya.
So my dilemma is and this is not a crucial decision for me, so PLEASE don€™t whip me for asking such a question€¦..haha€¦€¦.Do you think I€™m better of staying in BKK for the three days or do you think going to Pattaya will give me a better time.

Pattaya is so close to both Bangkok and the new airport so it's really up to you.

I think if you had a virgin pal to babysit I'd go to Pattaya and sit him in Club 131 for a few beers first then take him down the street to Stringfellows for 'the show' then back to 131 to talk about it over a couple more beers.

Same if you are in Bangkok - Guess Bar then Obsessions... but I think Jane would be too much for the poor chap and he'd stain his pants before reaching the top of the stairs on the way to the short time room!

3 days free - I'd go to Pattaya, no question about it. The advice on 131 and Stringfellows is good, and also you should go to Goldfingers on Soi 7, the new LB agogo. I found it to be a no-hassle place.

And there is always Soi 6 for afternoon fun. Lots of GGs but a few LBs thrown in there.

This used to be my opinion also and still is when it comes to the beach in Pattaya. However I find Pattaya is growing on me and really like the fact that the place is big and I am not so well known.

So many nooks and crannies to explore and there another ladyboy around every corner.

For example I went to Market in Soi Bua Khao yesterday and stayed about and hour or so. In that time I counted nearly 30 lbs walking around.

For simplicity and "safety" if you have "the new boy" with you .......... Bangkok, Guess, Obsession, Guess, Guess.

I agree with SB; Jane would eat him alive, he wouldn't last a minute and maybe her direct approach would be too overwhelming for him. I'm sure Eats would be gentle to him.. Should get him over that anxiety in a minute...

About you; Go what FEELS right for you, if you want to connect with some good folks, Guess is probably the place.

Pattaya is great but the amount of opportunities may get you to lose focus, especially if you friend comes along...

Thanks for the great responses! I always know that if I have a question, that people like stogie bear, donnnnnny, ozzie, and kahuna and you others always have GREAT advice.
I had to laugh at the comments about Jane eating him alive€¦..haha. Is she that agreesive? When I go to Guess bar, Joy is MINE€¦€¦€¦..ALL MINE and I€™m not going to share€¦haha. So she wouldn€™t be an option either. All joking aside though, I tend to agree with Pattaya too. Granted we would have to go to Pattaya and incur the cab fare at midnight on Sept. 12th. I hate staying in BKK one night and then going, I have already been on a plane 26 hours, what€™s 2 more hours by cab on the night of arrival, right? But other than the ride to Pattaya, the ST & LT rates are cheaper, you can get decent rooms cheaper than BKK. Usually I stay at Areca (1350 a night), can anyone personally suggest a cheaper place in Pattaya. I was looking at Sunshine, but have read various views and Billy (69billy) talks a lot about staying at the Filliper, but for the life of me, I can€™t find anything on it. Or is it the Flipper€¦I did find that one. But other than price, I agree with most of you that Pattaya is soooooo much more laid back and both GG and LB€™s are very more personable and not like the seasoned pros of BKK. When I was in BKK last year with my buddy, the girls literally had to grab his hand before he would even start to talk to her. He€™s just reserved in his nature. We were in Nana last year and he saw this one girl that was a true stunner with the most gorgeous rack and body on her and he made numerous comments about her as we walked around, but I couldn€™t get him to even go up to her and start a conversation. He walks around with the proverbial €œDeer in the headlights€ look on his face when you get him near GG€™s. With this stunner though, it was his loss, 15 minutes later, she was gone but I figure if I sit him in Club 131 and leave him be, there will be enough ladies in there that will peak his attention€¦..but I don€™t want someone like Jane to get ahold of him and kill him€¦hahaha. But then again, what a way to go, huh?€¦haha.
Again, thanks for the comments and as I said previously, I think when you take into consideration money and the attitude and the quality of the girls in Pattaya, it€™s hard to be beat.

I am actually of the opinion that all newbies should experience being greated by about 10 of the hottest ladyboys on the planet when the walk into the Nana bars alone. I would send him in by himself and then walk in a couple of minutes later.

As far as hotels in Pattaya what about Pattaya Bay Resport

It is ridiculous to plan a girl for a guy. How many blind dates you set up for your friend with a foreigner of a different gender that worked?

Just bring him anywhere. He will find the one that works for him, just as you will.

And never believe what someone tells you, even your best friend. I can't tell you how many girls said, "He didn't know I was Ladyboy", I ask, "What did he do?", she says, "Him say ok, no problem". You likely do not know what your friend does in his private moments, or will do, and most certainly, I don't believe it will be kissy-kissy.

For 3 days, who cares? Both of these places can more than satisfy anyone for 3 days or 3 weeks.

fine hotel - right in the middle of beer bar action (try and get a room away from the noise if you can) and very LB-friendly

I'm gonna try Dynasty Inn my next trip for a change but would have no hesitation staying in Flipper Lodge again
