I see ikonboards.com is down, I cannot download the same version as yours. If you still have it send me an empty copy of this forum so I can try some skins. Otherwise just shrinking the width a little bit would be a great improvement. If someone keeps his browser window maximized this forum becomes unreadable

The width is set to 97% (last I checked) of the screen no matter what resolution your monitor is set at.

What resolution is YOUR monitor? So long as it's NOT 800 X 600 you should be able to see everything just fine.

Also - as far as skins are concerned - the feature to decide your own skin is turned off. I want everyone to see the same thing.

Still - if you think we can tweak the colors a bit then let me know. (I don't have a copy of the forum at hand at the moment. I'm on holiday till Friday!)

We WON'T be having any bright colors like some other forums have chosen. This is a conservative forum as porno sites go and we don't need bright lights and fizzy banners all over the shop!

Many members access the forum in internet cafes and at work so we have to be mindful of that.

Members CAN choose whether or not to display images, signatures and avatars and can also choose their own font color, size etc...

I have found the odd occasion when someone has loaded a very large picture on the forum that the screen size goes to 100% - but 99.7% of the time it resizes OK as it should.

Funilly enough I have been having problems with another website today and I have been using the forum as a check that it's not my computer

This chap seems like a nice fellow and all, but seriously..... letting one guy decide what the colors of YOUR baby may be?? Kinda like a porno site letting people on their message board dictate how the website will be run or what models will be selected for future updates, it will just never happen!!

This site is perfect. Don't change a thing Stogie. The members like myself support all the great decisions that have taken place over the last years. Thanks to all the forum mods and contributers. If someone has his browser window maximized, and I believe many of us do, having 97% width makes it difficult to read a sentence. It covers almost the entire monitor from left to right and you can easily lose track of what line to read next when changing line. Newspapers have articles with small width for this reason. Why not try something between 60% and 80%?

We were thinking of do that to help out all of our meth addicted readers that have eye twitching problems... but now most of them went to rehab with Nicole Ritchie or are in jail with Paris Hilton so we just decided it wasn't required anymore.
