I have observed this and hopefully it's not just me: Thai LBs win over the wetern TS easily in almost every aspect, except for their voice. These girls can pass EASILY in the west if they don't open their mouth ...

I guess they probably don't care about this that much since in Thailand, Thai people can still read them, but I wonder if this (meaning having a voice as passable as their looks) is achievable? I have long heard that this can be done by altering the way a person talk, without any surgeries....

I think I don't agree. I don't know as many western LBs as Thais, however, from every clip on YouTube or TV I've seen, the western voices are not good at all.

However, regardless of our opinions, part of any "feminization program" is training the voice to be more feminine. The westerners, of course, do crazy things like going to speech therapists or expensive MtF feminization programs, whereas the Thais just do it.

I am not aware of any surgery or drug that can fix this.

For me, the giveaway of any LB is almost always foot size. Reduced weight, hormones, and surgery can make basically every single part of the body more feminine. However, foot size is permanent. As I buy clothes for my models, I can tell you, the only problem I really have is buying shoes. Most girls are size 10 or more, and they don't make many ladies shoes that size. [Finger length is the same, but with lower weight, the fingers look slim and dainty, until you seem them in a picture --- hugely long!].

You can have your voicestrings shortened by a surgeon. Very complictaed and risky op, because it can also ruin the voice forever. But it works. Still need some training afterwards though.
Never heard or ever became aware of that story you mentioned about western voices of TS are higher than Thai. I'd say that's rubbish!

Maybe you guys are right about the comparison between west and Thai. It could be my personal experience with some (actually on emerges in my mind now) real passable voices that lead me into a wrong generalization. Also, maybe it's unfair to judege Thai's voice when they speak English.
The "foot" is the give away? I never thought of that for all the years I have been banging transgirls, but it's a good point.

A Turkish guy I know, who didn't want LBs, accidentally started kissing one, who'd approached him at a bar. He then looked at her feet, and gave me the lifelong memory, "Always check the feet", he said. Since then I realized the feet were a 95% giveaway.

There are 2 totally, totally beautiful girls in Obsession, Phupae, who was Top 10 in Miss Tiffany 2 years in a row, and Jane, whom I did a photo shoot of.

My gueess is they are both size 12 shoes, minimum.

Every single part of their bodies looks feminine, but look at the feet, and "Whoa Nelly! That's a bigun" !

It is quite likely the tgs you have met in the west or seen in western media have gone to a speech therapist or voice coach. In fact in some cities there are people who specialize in "femininizing speech". In these cases it is not just necessary changing the pitch of the voice, but other things like pronunciation/cadence, etc. can make the voice sound more feminine without a big change in the pitch.

In the previous thread, it was discussed that if a lb started a proper dose of female hormones before puberty then her voice would stay feminine. I have met a few lbs that started hormones at 12-13 and they definitely had a feminine voice.

Also with regard to the feet, I have met a couple of petite lbs who have normal size feet (for female), but I agree with Ziggy, the majority have big feet (for female)! I wonder if there is any relation to this and age of female hormone usage?

Most of the girls I've been with have fairly feminine voices...not perfect but close...but then I almost always choose smaller girls...

And the small girls feet tend to be smaller also, obviously...I've shopped for shoes with several ladies and they have no problem buying shoes in MBK or from street vendors...

But...their voices sure do change when they answer the phone...

All bone growth will change if hormones are taken prior to puberty is my understanding.

A petite girl will not have huge feet; nor would a petite man's. She'll have the feet of a petite man.

But whereas the hourglass shape, facial structure, breasts, dick, arms can all change with hormones post puberty, the length of bones (feet and hands) cannot. So a tall LB will have the feet & hands of a tall man (but everything else not that of a man).

I'm surprised there is no medical procedure to tighten the vocal chords or otherwise raise the pitch of voice.

There is a medical procedure to shorten the vocal cords, that can raise the pitch of the voice - however, very few doctors are skilled enough to perform this procedure. In addition there is a high risk of going mute if there is a mistake with the procedure.

I have heard some lbs undergoing this procedure in Thailand, with mixed results and the cost was pretty high. So they will focus more on procedures that enhance their visual appearances.

It's always seemed to me that Philippino ladboys have far more feminine voices than the Thais. Anyone else think this?
