I think I am sensitive on this topic, because everyone who posts something that says 'gay' always seems to post it in a very derogatory context. Brocklanders uses 'fag', which is clearly derogatory, and implies he views the majority of members on this forum in a derogatory way (as per his definition, and per the poll results). As for Sangabriel, this is the first post where you put the topic in a more even keel, but with always that last kicker sentence to punch a derogatory comment at someone (in this case the references to academic and me). I think if there wasn't that derogatory tone to it, I wouldn't care.

Also, aside from the 'gay' word, there is a very fundamental principle here. Is a LB male or female. When you say if you suck her dick you are gay, it obviously implies you a feel she is male. And that is where I am sensitive too, not personally, but because it is so obviously wrong. Anyone who has spent any amount of time with LBs cannot possibly think they are male. My May is more feminine than any woman I've known. She has a dick. It is completely irrelevant to what gender she is.

So, I suppose I do the 'hissy' fits on this topic because the posts are often intended as personal insults and clearly (at least in my view) 'way off the continuum' of a rational perspective of what LBs are.

If Brocklanders were to say, you suck a dick, and that's ok, there would never be a response from anyone. But when it's said as, 'this is way off the continuum, and you're a fag', who the fuck wouldn't throw a hissy fit. If he said that to my face, I'd punch him without blinking an eye, regardles of whether I cared about the word or not, because it's the emotion behind it that's so blatantly insulting.

So when you comment on 'hissy fits', think about the feeling behind your writing. It's not like we are blind bats and cannot read between the lines here.

As for academcic, I cannot remember how many times I said I wasn't one, and even requested the Academia forum not be created because of me. I'm just a guy who likes LBs and thinks about the topic a lot, that's all. No smarter, no dumber than any of you guys on this subject. But I certainly do read a lot about it, and think about it a lot, and thus my many posts.

I think here so many people have so many problem with "I'm a gay or no?" my opinion no reason for ask yourself this, I don't know if I'm gay, etero, fireman, or policeman :-) for sure I enjoy my life without any mental bump or etiquette.
