and I seem to see many guys your age driving moto taxi's around BKK making 200 baht per day, 7 days per week and driving in smog and traffic and 100 degree heat  all day;  but that may chip a nail or mess up your hairdo and it's certainly not enough to buy the latest brand name BS  or to go out dancing and doing drugs till 8am.

Then QUIT you ho, no one is making you  work there....you like the money, just be honest. The bullshit about "but I must work here to send money home to family"  is just that, BULLSHIT;  every person in Thailand does that, from taxi drivers to people who work at Watsons..... these people need more to indulge in the lifestyle they enjoy and hopefully have more surgery's to make more money working in, yup, another bar!!


and PLEASE...... no lectures from forum experts on Thai culture  about discrimination and lack of work because "woe is me, I am a ladyboy and I can't find work".  You CAN find work and as stogie has said up here before, we see about .1% of Thai ladyboys when we visit the Nana Bars; how are the rest surviving somehow?

 Visit Siam Paragon or The Emporium or MBK to see LB's who make 6-9K a month as clerks and seem to manage just fine, albeit without the newest Gucci shoes or the latest bag from their dealer;  girls who work as hookers like the money, plain and simple.

One small bright spot of sorts is the girl in my bed right now...watching some crap on the TV...
She hasn't worked in her bar for over a month and cannot return...she just had a operation
on her eye for a condition that wasn't caused by the bar environment but seriously aggravated
by it...and her doctor has ordered no more bar...

Now whether she really wants to leave is another matter, but she clearly dosen't want to lose
the vision in that eye...so I believe she will quit...what she will do to make a buck I have no idea...
But even though I know she will struggle financially...I am happy for her...

of course, Kahuna and I am with you all the way.... I saw a friend of mine last month working in a cabaret show; she has a sucker from some western shithole country and quit Cascades, so good for her.  ALL cool ladyboys who leave the scene should be applauded, but the ones who stay there and complain about 'working bar' and looking for sympathy should get none, IMO; it's a cop-out.

 I would much prefer "Ya, I like working here; I make 40K + a month and it makes for a great lifestyle and I like meeting up with my friends nightly to party and have fun; I don't like the goofy old white guys I have to fuck but at least working here pays for my good life and helps my family too".

loved working in a bar. she is a stunner so she did not only made a lot of money but also could work with her fav hobby - sex.
but again, who the fuck goes to a hooker bar to hear about their sob-stories. the answer to their complaints is: go to school, get an education and then you get a decent job.

when they say "i dont like the bar" most of the time its part of a psyco game they are playing with you... they try to provoke in you a sort of paternal protection... sometimes these kid are sharp as a razor and have no scruples in playing with your emotions.
they understand personalities better than a shrink i bet.... always keep it real and remember where and with who you are

For example what is then with Jannie and Anny. Both had graduatee for about 3 years. But looks like they had not got the same chance like other students after successful finish of university.  One of them told me that she did not get a good paid job.
Or what is about Nan, she still lives in Sweden with her sisters family since some years, but the last I heard from her about her job was that she had got there a part time job only.
And not all will get this lucky chance like Bobo for to sing in a band.
With this girls it is like everywere in the society were are different personalities and which have different perspectives.  Some think about for stop working in the bar, but be to lazy. Other like to stop, but get not the chance for a normal job. And some less get and take the chance for leaving the bar job.
