If you have spent any amount of time here sooner or later you start to question if the best nights or lbs you met were barfined from the big 4 or picked up outside on the street. I am not talking about the ones that get barfined early for short time and somehow put themselves out there.....What is your best bet? Who would you rather be with? who took hiv test? who is not on meth? Who will be the best sex and most fun.

I am not sure about your question? Are you wondering about who is more likely to be HIV+? Or one Meth?

If that is the case then I would say you have equal chance of both from both places.

I personally prefer the bars as I get to see all the talent in one place. I occasionally grab a girl from Sukhumvit but on then usually if I have known her previously in a bar or with other girls before.

I'd rather be with the one I have some chemistry with. Street or bar depends on the girl & your experience level. Having had plenty of both I'd say that Street is not for you if it's your first visit, or your new to LB's. Bars give you some element of safety/comeback, Street gives you NONE. Plenty of threads on this topic. As for who took hiv test? You believe anyone does? Why do you care, treat all wires as live at all times. It's not a question I ever have, or ever will ask. Drugs are at all levels of every society. Use your eyes and if in doubt leave it out.

I tend to avoid street walkers and there are a number of reasons.

My biggest concern is they are not traceable. If you get robbed or drugged by one from a bar, you know right where to find her. And if she does a runner, the bar has ID on file. This acts as a major deterrent. This one is of particular concern to me because I like to get really drunk when I am out and thus more vulnerable. Case in point I recently grabbed one from Obsession and we finally crashed at 4am after much drinking on my part and I was out cold. She woke me eventually and apparently had the munchies as I noticed the fridge had been raided and she had been toying on the computer as well, all of which are ok with me. But she could have stolen anything she wanted because I didn't even sense a single thing that went on from lights out till being awoken.

Another thing is being able to inspect them. You can see their whole body in the bar and bars only tend to hire fairly flawless ones so no hidden physical faults to surprise you.

The health part is another factor. You can't assume street walkers or bar girls are safe, but I do think the bars could be slightly better odds as they require periodic testing and I do know ones who were cut for this so you can't just say they all fake the results. And I wonder how many that get cut turn to the streets.

Just some of the reasons I avoid those walking around. Though saying that the few times I have pulled from the street were good experiences and one now works at one of the bars.

    while you may consider getting so drunk you hardly know what you are doing & then virtually passing out when you make it back to your room & inflicting your drunkenself on an LB,... to be enjoying yourself.    I very much doubt your chosen company is of a mind to provide any kind of reasonble service, in fact they probably really don't want to be there if truth were known. You are leaving yourself wide open to theft or some other kind of incident, & leaving valuables lying around in plain site... laptop... is only leaving temptation in temptations way, whether bar worker or freelance streetwalker the result will ultimately be the same.

Its up to you, as they say, but i would sort your act out before something serious happens, its only a matter of time!

Yeah, I am very aware of the drugging and theft which is often in the news and ladyboys in particular seem to have the worst reputation in that regard. Yet having somewhere in the order of 100 LT sessions I have yet to have a problem. I put all my eggs in selecting ones with the right chemistry, character, and treating them well and with respect. But certainly this is a false sense of security and I could be had anytime and on that day my age of innocence with them will be lost forever.

Now for a tangent on the alcohol side.

One danger of alcohol that effects most people is the safe sex shields slowly go down and that's really my biggest concern of all is to manage that. Also alcohol affects different people in different ways. Some become rowdy and obnoxious and these types stand out and are particularly annoying (or god forbid, a group of them) especially when you are sober.

I drink a lot, but never so much to pass out, throw up, black out, lose control, or become totally insensitive to those around me and thus stay within what I consider reasonable limits. Some people are blessed to be fun people to be around just naturally all the time without any alcohol and my hats off to them, but that doesn't describe me. Alcohol can transform me from being a bump on a log with bad Thai traits like "thinking too much" or being "serious" to a more fun, laid back, and generous person living for the day like younger Thai's like to do. It also inspires me to go to the kind of places they naturally would go partying on their own so it is often mutually enjoyable. In fact, I pride myself in being the one to introduce to them places in Bangkok they never knew existed that I hope they will like. And once at my pad we often are glued to Thai songs and karaoke. I always marvel recounting the rare nights that were good enough that we are surprised to see sunlight in the morning before turning in. While the success rate for me is pretty good (meaning it all seemed mutually enjoyable), I can also admit times of complete failure. On the other hand, many want me to be the one to take them out for their birthday--after being out with me. I am also invited to tamboon (various Buddhist merit making ceremonies) by them from time to time as well for what it is worth.

I favor choosing those that want to drink and even ran across a small ladyboy that could out drink me which was very impressive! We occasionally did bottles of scotch at her bar that lasted a few visits and mixed in ST, but one night we polished a whole bottle of Chivas at a disco in ladprao on her birthday and I attributed her 55% to my 45%, though that was a very, very unusually high alcohol night for me trying to keep up. The sex part is strangely variable; sometimes it is heightened by alcohol and sometimes it delays it till the next morning and that's ok either way by me. It's the whole experience of sharing a unique sliver of life with another person is what I find fascinating and sex anywhere along the way sort of christens the significance of it all.

I witnessed the Eurotrash drunks in numbers in Pattaya over New Year / early Jan, frankly they were just a bloody nuisance, loud, obnocious, abusive, & in somecases hurling abuse at the LB's. However the Thais were making making merry with them & ripping them off at the same time, padding there bills like hell, but I have little sympathy, everyone likes a drink, no one likes a drunk!

Unfortunately the UK specializes in exporting package tour drunks, more so than many other countries, but they weren't the only culprits.
