Not sure how many bars this will affect but if its like previous years - its pretty widespread as most of them close as the police say drink cannot be sold. Some in Pattaya open, but have all the lights off and are reluctant to serve bottles or anything that could be construed as alcohol. Might be worth planning to do something cultural this weekend if your in Thailand.
