What integrity of the administrators.  Anyone that harshly disagrees with the board has their post deleted.  

Could not care less about the other forum and points systems but would like to see this one change.  Sure I love the real reports from Billy or Cosstag (Oops sorry the Administrators deleted him).  Yes I had to create a seperate login to post this because I am sure my account would be deleted after I posted a real opinion.  And by the way I did not agree with everything Cosstag said but some of you guys just ridiculed his misunderstanding of the English language, which pissed him off and eventually led to the threats...my two cents.

I am sure SB (who I have met, and found to be a pretty good guy) will pounce on this and tear it up, along with the flock of posters just trying to up thier post count (come on admit it guys).

On the flip side the Administrators do a really good job of trying to keep the posts in the right category, keeping the conversation moving, etc.  But if we are really here to enjoy LB's, share stories, and help the newbies then lets do it.  Right now all the newbies easily get pounced on for asking questions that everyone says they should have performed a search for..weren't we ALL newbies at one time or another.

The good old days of meetings at Big Dogs seem to be long gone which is a shame because sitting out there and watching the LBs and GGs head to work was a Bangkok tradition.  Now the main agenda seems to be promoting the Guess bar.  Oh my mistake, occaisionally we mention Obsessions or Pattaya.  How come I seriously doubt if the new 131 bar is successful they will not have thier own thread?  

Taking the chicken shit route and posting under a hidden name is not the way I wanted to do this, but I think alot of people feel the same way by talking with them but everyone is afraid of SB's delete button.

Indeed Stogie Bear, every  site and message board has it's own way, and it´s everyone his one choice which one like to visit.
But this one here is the best of his kind and there isn`t something for to change. This forum is really OK.

(That would seem to indicate to me that most of the readers there are not members, but that's by the by.) This is a similar scheme to supermarket loyalty programs.

I'm not sure of the benefits this brings to the forum, and after a few weeks of meaningless posts and automatic gainsaying replies they'll probably abandon it, but I wish them all luck as promotions are sometimes a good way of getting new business.

We won't be doing anything similar here.

How about bringing back from last year the promotion of extending the memberships of Forum readers to 18 months if they PM you directly?

If you do not like the editorial policy on someone else's moderated board, get your own!

If the price of ensuring polity around here is to delete a few posts by the unhinged, that's okay with me.

Sound a bit harsh yourself What. I haven't seen SB delete a lot around here without clear reason. I've certainly not seen him shy from an opposing point of view.

In fact I think he relishes that kind of stoush and gives as good as he gets  

I think the Moderating here is pretty good. What some don't always realise its that there are sometimes certain legal issues and exposure that have to be considered.

The Guess bar thing came from an overwhelming call from the Members, one which SB initially resisted. As to other matters, there is a commercial reality. The Forum is but a part of ATS. I know some lament the 'good old days', but that's life and there's still a lot of fun to be had in this Brave New World.

yeah, could you tell me exactly who you do this?

I assume you don't get paid, correct? So why would you invest your time moderating to make this a better forum, which makes the ATS product better, which helps the owners of the site make more money?

The short answer Stewart, is that someone's gotta do it. Or else certain people would be complaining even more when things get out of control    

It's also about wanting to give something back to the 'Community'. Free access to the vids as a small recompense doesn't hurt either

Absolute rubbish.
Posts that get deleted are usually off-topic, racist or just plain stupid.

Why would they allow, on a moderated board, owned by a pay sex-site, adverts or links to ther commercial pay sites?

Also Pics from other sited get deleted because they are copyrighted and owned by another site, hopefully they do the same when people post ATS pics on their forums.

Costass, true, was baited by a few members, but his reaction was totally unacceptable. Maybe you like to receive threats daily?

Again as Lemarquis has said, it was the forum members who insisted on the Guess Bar Thread and it took 3-4 months to talk Stogie into giving way.

Times change and things change. The opening up of the internet has seen a massive surge in traffic to pay porn sites and this site, i think is no different.
In LOS i always still meet at big dogs, and most of the guys i know will still head over there early in the evening before heading off to the bars. There isa still nothing like it for me and in April I will be on the barrier, watching the world go by.

I think your post is a little harsh, and i for one find this board entertaining and a great source of information.

As for harsh, I did say nice things about the Administrators also, did anyone read that part? In fairness starting out with "What integrity...." Is really not fair to them but the part about deletions is, in my opinion and isn't that what forums are for?

I might just keep this new login and abandon the old one.

There are rewards other than monetary.

Simply participating in this forum by reading and responding to posts does not bring you any compensation, but hopefully you enjoy the discussion. Ultimately, someone else is making money off your contributions here.

Some choose to contribute more, by providing some organization here.
