Over-the-counter Viagra piloted

Users will pay £50 for four pills.

The anti-impotence drug Viagra will be available on the High Street without a prescription from Valentine's Day.
Boots the chemist is introducing a trial scheme at three of its branches in Manchester.

Men aged between 30 and 65 will be able to buy four pills for £50 after a consultation with the pharmacist.

They will have to undergo some basic medical tests - and anyone wanting a repeat prescription would have to consult a doctor.

Boots claim that only 10% of the three million men who suffer from impotence are being treated.

They said offering Viagra without a prescription could help to improve those figures.

The chemist also claimed the move would be a good way to monitor men's health as erectile dysfunction was often a marker for a more serious underlying medical condition.

Well I'm not sure how much it is here in Thailand because I always get Phenagra (the pink one!)

These pills are £1:50 - cheap, compared to the ludicrous prices that Boots plan to charge!

I thought it was a nice touch to start this promotion on February 14th... Valentines Day!

I find it very interesting that the gov't has gone ahead and allowed Boots to trial this. Seems like there may have been some horse trading going on, because allowing a certain chain this chance and not others seems odd. In Canada pharmacists in certain provinces are allowed to dispense certain prescription medications without a doctor's prescription - but only after they have passed a certification program that trains them to do some medical screening that allows them to do simple diagnosis for those particular medications. So it is not restricted to a particular chain.

Say, you could take them over and sell them next trip to partially fund some of your fun!

Also - a word about the retailer Boots...

I think they are our only 'chain' of pharmasists although there are countless independent dispensing chemists (pharmacies.)

Boots are also highly regarded as one of the most ethical and 'above board' of British companies and they would be a logical choice for an initiative like this.

Are they genuine Viagra for 50p each. I seen the Indian fake stuff and other copies for cheap price

But 50p for the real deal.....i would thought they cost more than that to buy from the Distributor..

They are actually blue pills called Kamagra but they seem to do the same job

Kamagra is great stuff and they work so fast you have to swallow them quickly or you get a stiff neck
