Ok first you say that more than 50% of LBs? (or all BGs?) are high on Ice nightly, then you say they, "not nightly, of course". Which is it? Maybe a single, coherent and consistent statement of your understanding of the drug usage habits among working LB's would be a good start?

Many Thai young people experiments with drugs, trying something once or twice is a lot different than your claim of rampant, continous daily usage.

There is just not enough money to pay for these habits on an even infrequent basis. Only a few LB's get bar-fined each night, and those that do are hardly likely to share their earnings with others in the form of drugs, without a quid pro quo. It's just a ridiculous proposition. More likely they're getting together to drink whisky and play cards.

I realize you know a lot of LB's and they "...tell you a bunch of shit...", but why is it that what they tell you is accepted at face value, yet in the same breath you say they all lie by saying "no" when asked if using drugs?

I wouldn't say you are making this stuff up but either you are misunderstanding what your LB contacts are telling you, which is understandable as your Thai language skills may be basic, or you are exptrapolating a micropscopic sample across a broad range of individuals without any sort of supporting data.


And how would you know my street price figures are accurate?

on any given night 50% of the girls are high as a kite....which is very consistent, that means 1/2 may be high tonight and the other 1/2 tomorrow night. They are not ALL high EVERY night of course, but about 50% of the time. Get it? I am not commenting on the rest of your spiel, I know what I am talking about here and if you don't like it I could give a good fuck.

From my experience drug use is high - I know for a fact that its the single biggest problem for Jay in finding new staff. She has a sixth sense about drug use among LB's and rejects way more for this reason than anyother. It does not help that she is also very fickle about looks and demeanour but thats for another thread - drug use is high among LB's thats for sure but I have no idea what the percentages are.

while i've eaten some trash al fresco, it was never directly from a can. those are shoes i have no desire to fill. nor do i wish to forever limit my remarks to topics upon which i am a top authority and in which i have a long life experience. but from what i do know and have lived - and therefore it is *completely* anecdotal - of the hundreds of working girls and ladyboys and TS's i have encountered casually and/or known intimately, there is absolutely, positively no doubt that there is a great deal of drug use, almost certainly much higher than in more "legal" professions, *whatever* the actual percentage . and while i will not pretend to specific percentages, it is my anecdotally driven opinion that very similar percentages would hold for the sexworkers who walk sukhomvit as for the girls who walk the streets of l.a., new york and prague. as well as most other streets i have not walked. it is in *no* way a specifically thai nor specifically ladyboy problem.

I find it hard to believe that such a high percentage are on drugs such as Ice. I am sure there are many but 50% just seems high to me based on my experience.

I don't doubt there are many that dabble and some that do it regularly but I sceptical about so many.
