If I had never stumbled upon this site, I seriosly doubt if I would have yet ever been to Thailand. But thanks to AsianTs and the wonderful help of Jon and Angelo (now my adopted brother), I was able to break the ice and get over there a few times and now you couldn't keep me away from what seems like my 2nd home.
Now, and to begin with because of this forum, I have Angelo as literally my neighbor when here in the world, which helps to make it a little more tolerable when I cannot be in LOS.
Then, to top it off this weekend, I had the distinct honor and privilege of meeting a great American, a true war hero and genuine nice guy, our very own Dan aka Ramboz...as he flew up for a long weekend to where Mr Lonely and I live.
I've seen the DFC, this fine gentleman is the real deal and while he deserves our praise and gratitude, he is also most humble about everything he has experienced and accomplished.
It all started because I joined this site in mid 2002, who would have thunk it would all snowball into everything that has happened.
So, in summation, thanks again Jon for all your tireless help and advice, especially before I made my first trip last year, when I was likely somewhat of a pest with so many questions all the time.
Also, thanks again to Brother Angelo for everything you have done and did to help me at many turns in the road. I got your back anytime, I think you know that.
Now, don't forget to eat your greens and veggies.
And again a handshake and salute to you Dan. YOU TRUELY ARE DA MAN!
Do your best to take care of yourself, we want you around for a long long time...that is for sure!
