Photos or the real thing..?

OK guys..
I was just wondering...I seen many LBs photos and I put them on my to do list..But when I meet them in real life Im disappointed with most off them...
Thets the one off the reasons you don't see me with the so called superstars...
How is it with you..??

good point......as a matter of fact I had/have my eyes on one cutie who poses for this website and was thinking of meeting her upon my next return to BKK...... however, at this point I have built her up to such legendary status in my own mind that she is bound to be a let-down now!

Some are definitely much more photogenic than others, so until you are sitting face to face, it's often hard to be sure.

Appearances aside, I'm not one to get too carried away with a "To Do List". Whilst I certainly make a few mental notes about who I might like to check out, I much prefer to "go with the flow" and trust my instincts on the day.

I remember when I first met Areeya some years ago at Cascades, when she was the so called "Superstar" of the site. After one drink, I knew immediately I wasn't interested in barfining her despite all the time I had spent drooling over her photos.

The Photo's are good as eye candy, yet I enjoy just going with the flow, never trying to arrange pre made meetings just spur of the moment encounters.
I feel the spontanious feeling you get when meeting a Lady Boy, and you deciding there and then if you fancy her or not, then the conversation then if all feels well off for some great times together.
This is how I have been enjoying the scene from the start and I still enjoy the anticipation of my next chance encounter.

But also the opposite is true, girls that dont look so hot in photos are actually stunners in real life, good example for me is Fern from Guess who did nothing on camera but is hot, hot, hot in flesh and blood.

It is sad but true that we do build them up in our minds before we get to paradise and then can sometimes feel let down sitting next to the real thing but what the hell, just go for it!

That's why I didn't go for Mickey at Obsessions. She looked amazing but I just didn't think she'd be a great time in bed and plenty of other lookers I've never seen on the internet to choose from.

I always take a "to-do list" also. There have only been two on those lists that measured up to their hype and both just happened to be Filipinas. One was Daphnie and the other was Nika.

as long as a girl is 6 out of 10 in looks- its the attitude that counts therafter. one reason i don't posts pics here is because i often pick the 'ugly' girl from bars. some superstars are just that, but i love finding an undiscovered gem who really enjoys and appreciates her time with me rather than me being just another trick.
being with a girl that is 9 or 10 in looks is great but after a while u realize its just a gimmick if her heart isn't in it.

It's a testament to monkeymans photography that when you meet these girls face to face they don't always measure up.

I agree with the original poster. Some of these gals are a bit of a shock when you meet them after a nice pictorial.

As for planning your holidays and making 'to do' lists... I say GO FOR IT... Planning for a holiday is part of the fun of having a holiday.

But don't forget that when you land in Bangkok - Trash those plans and lists and just go with the flow!

i am not sure if b.69 means he is dissappointed in
their appearance or in their personality. it is a mega
mistake to create a fantasy about someones persona
from photos. this is not meant as a critisim because
in a strange way i liked her, but the classic example
of this mistake is lee. about looks it is common i
think to not recognize someone. i was in temptations
last year and was having a drink and small talk with
a girl. then she said her name was mickey. i did
not have a clue. she looked nothing like her video.

Never liked Lee. She had the shark eyes BEFORE the chop! A lot like Film... pretty enough, but a dispassionate starfish really.
