l know someone who took a double ended dildo on Holiday to LOS, his bag went through xray machine and he got asked to open the bag by customs officer ( lady ).

She took the dildo, didn't say anything but held it in her left hand up in full view of everyone queueing behind him, while having a shifty through his bag with her right hand.

Just ask around the stalls on Silom at the entrances to Patpong. Many designs and models but they are not cheap.

i have brought dildos, never had a problem,. there was a stall inside royal garden - 2nd floor - that had various 'sexual' devices. they got closed down though. not sure if it's written down in any law book in thailand if such devices are illigal, but it's not easy to come by. but as anything in los, you can get it if you're willing to pay the price

I've taken a few items into Thailand over the last several years and so far customs has taken no interest.

As for places to buy such things in BKK  -  I seem to remember a post a couple of years ago that mentioned a shop in Phetburi Road somewhere near the Asia hotel.
I have never seen anything around there but it would figure as this is one area that the Japanese look for girls and they do like their sex toys.

funny i have ordered toy's from the states and had them send to thailand.only problem was that the ladyboy i sent them emailed  me and said she had to a customs fee or bribe i guess.i had to pay her back of course. on the adameve website under shipping to other countries thay say they can ship most sex toy's to thailand as long as the packaging is not show explict pictures. i will find out as i have just placed a order from adameve to ship to a ladyboy friend of mine.i cannot bring them in  as i work in iraq and of course this is off limits.by way martin9515 funny story about airport customs.guess i will not be brining them in either.

My guess with the customs fee is that the parcel contents were listed as toys.  

For some reason Thai customs always seem to levy a charge on anything marked this way  -  even if the stated value is only a few US Dollars.
I'm guessing the charge was only about 20 Baht anyway.

If I get anything sent to Herself when she is in Thailand I always ask the supplier to mark it as anything except toys.  ie. Trade Sample or Merchandise.
If it's marked this way customs normally don't bother  -  even when the declared price is more than $200

true road runner.i am told they ship them marked as health and beauty items. now i have to confess that of three packages sent one did not make it.i had ordered from spicygear.com and am told by customer service that it may of been inspected and sized. the other one made it to bangkok. you have to know that you take a risk sending as the shippers will not add insurance  and if sized you have lost your money.its a crapshot.

How is the mail system in LOS or how do they deal with FedEX, UPS, or DHL ?

Seems like you could easily order one from an internet catalog and have it shipped to you.

Thai customs the comment I hear daily is fucking thrives
If you send goods via a company like FedEx for example when they manifest with Thai customs is considered under customs control so when it hits the tarmac in bkk is automatically in customs.

From my experience very thing over 50 aud is open to duties. They then charges a paperwork a process fee it varies depending if Thai and none Thai. Mind you all these fees are calculated in usd not Thai BHT. If your parcel is held longer than 3 days (cause cnee can not pay this amount) storage fees apply.

The worse thing is a Thai to send home to family the fees seem to rise very quickly. The thinking here as told by Thai customs now retired if you can afford to live overseas you and your family can afford to pay.


so the moral is does not mater what it is they will let in then charge the fuck out of you to get it.
