I dont see how Pattaya is more tacky than BKK. why?.
They have go go bars and shops the same as around nana. A shop is a shop, a Hotel is a Hotel. Maybe Buttafly thinks Nana is less tacky, well please explain yourself or yourselves on this point , Nana must be the epitome of Tackiness;period ......exactly the same tourists go to Nana as Pattaya so no difference there then.

Ideed every one i spoke to in Nana has plans for Pattaya

I agree that there are more and perhaps better looking Ladyboys to choose from in Bankok but it ends there.
My companion ladyboy told me that the LBS in Pattaya have a good heart...,,.not same as Obessions,,....i tend to agree.

I think the difference is Pattaya is like one big Nana plaza. I personally do not hate Pattaya but can only stand being there for 2-3 days at a time as there is no real respite from the bar scene.

I still prefer BKK and probably prefer Phuket even more because it has some decent beaches as well.

Although I do tend to agree that most lb's I have met in Pattaya tend to be more Jai Dee than the average Nana lb.

most of the guys i know spend there whole time in BKK within a 300 metre radius of Nana Plaza . The Pattaya is tacky argument will never hold up as far your average sex tourist is concerned. I am not refering to the whole of BKK in general.

Anyway the place to avoid in Patt is Linda Beer Bar unless you are in to older mature ladyboys.

In Bangkok you can escape from it, go to Paragon, Mbk, decent restaurants and nice bars/nightclubs.
In Pattaya it is in your face the whole time, with no respite.

In Hua Hin the bar area is a small, 4 street block behind the Hilton. - Its there if you want it, but not rammed down your throat 24 hours a day.

Well, you may be right, but it doesn't 'seem' that way to me. There is always potential for trouble from the tourists in Pattaya and almost none in Bangkok (where ever you go.)

Maybe these "same tourists" behave differently, but give me the Bangkok crowd of visitors anytime!

I'm a BKK enthusiast, only been to Pattaya 3 days, but does Jomtien count as respite?

Was only once in Hua Hin and being with my genetic gf at that time ( yeah I know its not as good as the real thing ) couldnt explore the scene. I only sited 2 ladyboys in the 5 days I was there. Both were just half way decent and looked a menacing situation standing in an entrance of a dark alleyway. It was in the main street but even if I was alone I wouldnt have been tempted to wander down that alley. I hear that prostitution is not tolerated in Hua Hin because the King has a residence there. So I guess that was the reason for the clandestine surroundings. The bar scene behind the Hilton was small and really quiet. Great place to take a family of course.

Granted, beaches near Pattaya are not pristine and the water is polluted but ate least you are near nature and water. I think the area in Walking Street is much nicer than Nana Plaza and there are plenty of touristy things to do with your gf or ladyboy for the day(Nong Nuch, Sri Racha Zoo, Elephant riding, Jomtien, etc.). If you want nice restaurants, there are plenty of them(I eat street food anyways).

I live in one of the most beautiful cities in the world so when I get to Bangkok, many times I want to get the fuck out of there and on to Pattaya. Bangkok is dirty and polluted. The air is so bad that I have sometimes coughed up various colors that I have never seen. The area near Nana is an absolute shithole...not to mention the Arabs-a-plenty with their wives walking 5 feet behind them. Bangkok has better shopping, night clubs and restaurants and that's why I limit my trips there to just 4 or 5 days. There is no Pattaya gogo bar that rivals Obsessions, no argument there BUT Jenny Star Bar has enough uber-hotties to last you weeks...and that's all the time I need. I also don't go on trips strictly to fuck ladyboys and IMHO Pattaya has better looking gogo girls and more of them.

To each his own I guess. If I want to enjoy a city, I go to NY not Bangkok.

I cruised Pattaya north & south last night from 1800hrs thru to 0500hrs this morning, 3 things struck the masses of tourist horde & gawping masses along with an increase in the drunken idiots amoungst them, but there also appeared to be a marked increase in LB's, they were alover the place come about midnight.

As 69Billy would say so many LB's so little time!

I can tell you that of all the members that i happen to know off in BKK around 90% are in or are going to Pattaya. Talking to guys in and around Nana... all i spoke to were going at some point.

Of course this topic as are most on the forum are highly subjective and there is no ulitimate ,,best place or nicest LBs,,. I dont like Casanova but i do understand why guys frequent that place.......
