Otherwise this is the worst case of wishful thinking. People prefer their own kind - politically incorrect but it's true, and while you are in a disadvantage position, you should not further misguide your own effort into wrong directions.
Do you know anything about Korean soap opera? These guys are the ideals for most Asian girls. You would find it hard to believe, how can these skinny, child looking or even feminine men be the favored of Asian GG or LBs? Well, they just are. The macho images in American movies just don't attract them. Asians never like romantic comedies from Hollywood.

Here we go again trying to put an western out look on Thais and Issan folk.
Thais from the Bangkok area have a problem with Issan people, they donot consider them real Thais.
I have even heard non-thai asians say that Thais are different from otheir asians, go figure that one.
Forever lb and gg that walks into Nana their will be a different reason why they have or donot have a Thai boy friend. Remember boys we are just customer and will always be just a customer.

I happen to be Asian too.
The people on this board are not the majority, we may even pat on our backs to say we are more progressive but it's not releastic to say the most of others think the same.
Again, I think it's a reality we have to recognize, NOT an ideal we have to put up with. i.e. you can proove it wrong with your own case. I will certainly applaud the courage.

no it don't matter whether or not they have a Thai BF, I posted the Question not from the perspective of a jealous farang but because I was interested to find out from the seasoned vets out there the typical Thai attitude to LB's and whether or not it's possible for them to lead any semblance of a "Normal" life
