I was wondering why long-timers never got a Permananet Residence visa in Thailand.
Now I know.
I am applying. I have a total of some 400 pages of documentation now, inlcuding:
-Original education certificates
-Copy of every page of passport for 3 years
-Pictures of me in every room in my house, and
work office
-MONTHLY tax receipts for 3 years
-Copy of Board of Directors meetings minutes and
bank statements for 3 years
-Original police clearance certificate from home
country
-About 100,000 baht total to apply
-Interview, get this, on DECEMBER 24th, 25th, 26th
-Every week I get a list of about 10-15 new
documents required
I am told it is very high chance I can get it, however, without a secretary doing this for me, and a lawyer, there would be totally zero chance.
I have a feeling I may the only person to have ever applied, ever, as I can't believe anyone going through this.
