I would think that while any celebrity was staying at a hotel in BKK, security would be tight and on the lookout for LB's...coming or going. And the popparazi are usually armed with enough camera, film and flashbulbs to make any 3rd world country's army envious.

Considering the fact that the popparazi practically follow these celebs just about everywhere they go, or even keep track of anyone who even visited the same hotel they were staying in, how would such a secret be kept?  

And I would think that although the locals may not always recognize an American celeb, a western tourist might. I guess it just depends on whether they, like myself, think celebs are a dime a dozen these days and so wouldn't really give a rats ass.
