Non-hostile takeover

This is just a general announcement to let you all know that  AsianTS will be going through some major managerial shifts soon.  But please don't worry, the usual website that you are always used to seeing will not change, and you will still have tech guru Stogie Bear here to run this forum as well as his always-popular Clubhouse, Bam with his tech genius behind the scenes, and the usual staff photographers and videographers who bring you the best ladyboys in the world week after week.

             The role for myself is still unclear at this point; while happily having no direct ownership ties these days, we are still in the process of working on contracts and finalizing some agreements with a huge conglomerate based in Amsterdam and with offices in Hong Kong and Jakarta for total managerial rights of this website. Once they take full control my role here will be more clearly defined;  either way someone will always be here to answer your questions, help out and to provide the customer service this website has always been famous for.

While any change to the current operation of the site (near perfect, if I must say) is worrisome on the face of it, and handing the reins to a conglomerate in Europe even more so, I trust that you have done right by the members.

It did...... the sale was completed in July, but there was a 3-month escape clause which allowed me to keep working here while the new managment set up their own network.... that 3 month window closed recently so I am kind of looking for work!

I hope that the "conglomerate" will not start pouring money into the scene, paying the ladyboys much more for their services (posing) than you fine gentlemen have. If they do, we will have alot of big-headed ladyboys in the scene that we cannot afford to be with.

heh, I wish this could happen.... too bad but there are some evil, lazy people with an agenda who would love to have the chance to harm me so I won't be in Thailand again until, like..........forever.

The new guys at the helm have been trying some new things but it seems they are finally happy with the ship the way it is sailing!

The site won't be changing and if anything you'll actually be getting MORE content as we empty our archives and move over to a new more dynamic way of presenting and releasing updates...

The Clubhouse WILL be affected as it will now be incorporated into the main site making it easier for members to find, use and navigate from. There will be more emphasis on video releases as this area starts to consume more and more of our resources and attention.

The forum won't change at all. That's a contractual obligation that JaiDee was kind enough to insist upon to protect me and the forums future.

And lastly - although JaiDee is presenting a dramatic exit from the scene, he will still be a consultant and participant in the development of the site and it's future and of course he'll still be winding me up by posting here...

glad to hear the forum will be staying in safe hands
i was starting to get worried that some of the great reasons for me joining this wonderfull world, were going to vanish or at least change for commercial reasons, its good to know the members will still have a place we can call home

Forum stays the same..... most things stay the same..... as you have seen since June the photography and videograpy are better than ever thanks mostly to Leo and Poo perfecting their craft..... before I signed over all rights to anyone I made damned sure I could consult on all changes and/or additions and there haven't been many, thankfully

sorry! one thing that didn't change is Andy still works here! and he was moving these past few days, from L.A. to Vegas [going from lame to lamer?]...... check again, they were just completed for today and as far as I know this was the first late update in 3 years!

haven't heard any plans to change that at all, but for sure anyone who isn't viewing the website with that deal is missing out on a lot!
