From a psychological point of view i find it strange that the girls dance for two hours and go mad trying to grab a 20 baht note as if its the last piece of bread on the planet.  

But you try giving a Ladyboy a 20 baht tip after stroking her neck for 2 hours and expect a punch in the nuts.

I saw this ping pong ball thing in Cascades a few nights before I came back home on my last trip in August.

This is no more degrading than dancing on a rotating stage in a skimpy bikini hour after hours and jostling for drinks and tips from customers.

An interesting observation TC, I€™'ll never try to give an LB a 20 baht tip for a few hours work. I€™ll keep it in mind if I ever feel like been a cheep Charlie.

I think tomcat was only talking about a tip of some sort, not the actual payment for her services.... I have heard of cheap charlies before and used to read a yahoo board where they made a sport out of short-changing hookers, but 20 baht would be the all-time low!

Yeh, thats all i meant....just the usual polite tip if one bends some honeys ear for half the night and then on a whim suddenly decide you now like number 77 ...or you may even fancy the spicy KFC box set as your late night TV companion instead of her.

I dont usually chop and change (too much in one night ) in a go go bar and a nice tip softens the blow if one resorts to these tactics.

Exactly right, TomCat.  As I know, the price of being a butterfly - and means you may still get a smile & civil greeting from number 8 when you're next in that bar!
