Need help from you...

The NEW locator page... (half done!)

I'll move this thread in a day or two but I need some input from you guys...

The above link takes you to the new style 'Locator' page...

I don't know how to do this... I can either put the whole year on one page (about 200 small thumbs) divide it into several pages or just two or three poages and link them all together.

The page loads OK on my computer at the moment. How about yours? Does it take too long to load up? Would more than one page be the best way to go (like the last locator) or maybe just two pages A-M and N -Z?

Also - it looks OK on my computer but do any of you have issues with appearance (left to right scrolling etc.)

Wanna get this sorted out before I proceed as it's a time consuming job to do right and I don't want to have to change it layter!

My own personal opinion would be better as a search rather than a page of static links. A parametric search would be ideal.

On dial up it's rather slow to load but I know I'm in a dwindling minority (dial up).

It's fine if I KNOW the girls name, but not being good with names, and many girls changing names as often as sponsers, a picture is good. Conversly if I know a name but can't remember a face (just as likely) I can get a hit there as well.

Not sure you quite understand the concept of parametric search.

You can think of it as a drill down search which can use any parameters you have available about the girls of which name is certainly one but things like location could be used also, you could also use operational status i.e pre-op or post-op.

The idea is you never end up with a null result or in other words zero search results as the search form parameters are only populated with data that actually has a result behind it.

So as an example POL might search for all post-ops in Bangkok and in the search results you would see a thumbnail and a short summary for each girl. Which you could then clikc through to the gallery. You also choose video or picture galleries.

For whatever it's worth, Mr. Bear, I think the new page looks absolutely terrific. Clean look and nice layout. What's not to like?

The page loads almost instantly on TRUE ADSL (and anything that works at all on TRUE ought to work great on a real ISP).

I hope you are kidding, because in the initial post it does say "Half DONE!" I haven't done the rest yet because I still can't decide whether or not to do one big page or 2 or 3 smaller ones!

Looks very nice here too. Had the same problem after K, but I trust Stogie will work out the bugs  

Maybe we could add the para search for the technically inclined. Or those who have elevated this hobby to a fine art    

As for me, point and click works fine

It's only half done - but I'll finish this off in the next day or so and see how it loads then. I have a feeling we'll have to chop this into two pages though!

loads quickly, I get 6 pics then have to scroll for the other two, not a big deal, and mine now goes up to "M",   , good work again, as expected, comes up quickly too

My question....If I login to the Forum and click on your Clubhouse icon...I can see all the
pics and videos without signing on with my members ID and PW (which is different than my forum ID and PW)....

Are the pics and vids all free now?   Or am I just doing something weird?

Hey folks, Stogie is not refering to cute ladyboy/femboy but rather the ATS Stogie Bear logo that's in the new Clubhouse. That's what was there earlier when Stogie posted.
